In Flames - Siren Charms Lyrics
How far until the edge?
These wrong ways are mine
But the whole world can just go to hell
This life is killing me
My feelings inside I can't explain
The hope is still not gone
Somewhere behind the clouds
I'll set you free if you follow me
Reach out touch the hand of God
I gave you the story of my life
Some of my precious time
But I'm tired of this
Another feeling dies
The hope is still not gone
Somewhere behind the clouds
I'll set you free if you follow me
Reach out touch the hand of God
The hope is still not gone
Somewhere behind the clouds
I'll set you free if you follow me
Reach out touch the hand of God
(Reach out touch the hand of God)
I'll set you free if you follow me
Reach out touch the hand of God

In Flames Siren Charms Comments
Holy fuckk the begginning sounds like from the show Stranger Things! Can any confirm? This song is the heavier full version. Omga!
The music is great, but the vocal melodies sound forced and kinda all over the place; doesn’t really have the catchy, sing-songy feel to it like Take This Life or Cloud Connected (as far as post-Clayman stuff is concerned, anyway).
so much fking power, love it
I've already said this on another video but, who else hears just a bit of Serj Takian his voice? lol
1:13 eargasm :) thrice
The fire
My heads all wired
In plain view
There's nothing in the way
I see with clarity
The eye of destiny
But just a little spark and once again... I don't know
Deep inside
The memories that are left behind
Close my eyes
I've been hopelessly lost in the fear
Are we the only ones?
It's all dark in here
Do I just waste my time?
Searching for exits in infinite space
Deep inside
The memories that are left behind
Close my eyes
I've been hopelessly lost in the fear
Are you for real?
All the lights
All the lights
Is that the future or another lullaby?
The fire
My heads all wired
In plain view
There's nothing in the way
I see with clarity
The eye of destiny
Deep inside
The memories that are left behind
Close my eyes
I've been hopelessly lost in the fear
Deep inside
The memories that are left behind
Close my eyes
I've been hopelessly lost in the fear
Great alternative album tbh
would be much better if it wasnt so over mixed
I understand the need of some freshness in music, because playing the same things can be boring. But what the hell they did with their style? My favourite band died about 3 cd's ago..
I love this album it really grew on me to be honest I wasn't that impressed the first time I heard it but the more I listened to it the more i liked it now it's one of my favorite albums by In Flames imho they've never made a bad song let alone album
all of inflames albums are good in their own unique way and sound. If you think otherwise, your just a closeminded, hypocritical, judgmental moron...Enough said.
My god, to me, this is the worst album in flames have ever made, this is really boring... i'm the only one who think this?
if you like this, i think i'm damn right, thanks man :*
i find it really disastrous and only come back to TJR, whoracle, colony and clayman times...
I feel like in flames’ new albums are always a contentious subject. It seems with every new release, people are unhappy with the change. When a sense of purpose came out, so many people hated on it. I fucking loved it and couldn’t see why people were dissatisfied with it.
That said, I fucking hate this album.
The only good on the album !
For my is The Chase xD
00:00 to 00:39 is the only good part on this song... -_-
Well, i was listening to Jester Race this morning and honestly hadn't heard any of IF's latest work. Found this song, played it and to my horror they evolved into a european version of Avenged Sevenfold. That was a tad disappointing.
To In Flame's credit, Anders has never been as terrible of a singer as M Shadows.
in flames still kicking ass! this band is really a true legend!
thank you king of banana
friberg
Thank you Mr. Friberg
hehe ye
This album took a while to grow on me. But holy shit, it's actually really good. Anders' singing is great, I've really grown to love his singing voice. This song and Everything's Gone are probably my two favorites, but they're all at least decent. Monsters in the Ballroom really stuck in my head too.
funny thing is, the sort of melodies they use are still exactly the same as they always have, as much as they've changed, that one particular trademark has remained wonderfully constant
Alexander Simmons I love all of In Flames. But siren charms ended up becoming my favorite album of theirs.
It's funny how In Flames gets a lot of lip from elitists for doing something new. News flash: In Flames was found out in the first place because they were something new back in their day. They did something in the 90's that was fresh and helped create a movement and pave the way for lots of modern metal bands today. And for that span of 20+ years, they continue to do what they've done since day 1, which is doing something new. I mean, if In Flames has grown and matured in both music and life, why can't those "real fans" do the same? (you know who else complains and whines about not getting what they want? spoiled children)
-Quote the raven, "Nevermore...."
Yeah, but it's not like those modern bands are majority good. I mean we have slipknot, but then we still have slipknot and it won't go away.
This is new for the band not metal
Say what you will about modern In Flames -- they can still write one hell of a chorus.
+The Damn Beast Pitty about the rest of the songs :/
+Joseph De Explosif I've grown to like it. It's not the same kind of good from "Whoracle", but I enjoy it for whatever the hell it is. Took me like two years.
that sums up my feelings about Siren Charms exactly lol. I don't even know what the fuck to call the genre they are now because it's not Melodeath anymore but it's pretty good anyway.
I would like to call the new In Flames Alternative metal. I agree with your statements about it not being their best album but I also Still Enjoy it for what it is.
The genre you're looking for is Hipstercore. And I feel the same way about their new (post-ASOP) stuff. It's not the same without Jepser, their sound is definitely different. They're still talented and Bjorn knows how to write good melodies. I can appreciate their new material, but I'll always prefer their older stuff.
the widnows movie maker tho

Ppl claim to be fans. If your a fan then you know how often they change their sound. Alot. Almost every single album actually
Thank you for the suggestion slipknot!
Everytime In Flames changes their sound some, people freak out. The entire history of this band's comments on you tube are the same year after year!! :) I like this album so far.
Some pieces of this song feel like Killswitch Engage. That's not bad :)
This track has a sick intro!

+Paradoxal Mindfucker It sounds like a guitar to me.
really the only good song from this album
Paralyzed? Rusted Nail?
+FusRoDah2 Paralyzed, Monsters in the ballroom, Filtered Truth, The Chase (Sick!), Become the Sky, Everything's Gone ?
I don't care much for the new album but this is an amazing song. Reminds me of something from ASOP
this song is amazing. Period.
Very. Especially the chorus.
Es mi canción favorita en el álbum. In Flames es el mejor. Yeah!
l..l.
IF you're pissing people off, you're doing something right. Fuck the Metaletists
+Siderico Fucking exactly.
OMG I'm sorry but once In Flames got a "vevo" channel all was lost.
What the fuck does that matter. Slayer has a vevo channel for fucks sake, it doesn't mean shit
This isn't a melodic death metal album, but this not means that it isn't a good album. For me it'a really good alternative metal album...
@Andy Drom This.

I understand why people say "this is not in flames", ect. Because you are comparing this record to Whoracle, Clayman, Lunar Strain, what have you. Some bands DO evolve, and In Flames is one of them. I've learned that you cannot compare records because you'll ultimately dissapoint yourself. This new record is not my favorite IF record, but it IS a brilliant record in its way. It's very melody-driven, more rock ingredients than the classic Colony sounds. I love this album personally, as I do all their records in their own right.
Most intelligent argument I've heard. I totally agree with you good sir
I believe a lot of it, despite some of my previous comments... may be, because they seem to have "lightened" up. Be it label, or be it them themselves, they have. I do not in any way hate what they have done with this work. I know they have to do what they have to... I just don't hope that what they had to do, at this point is what we truly got from them. I still hope there are brutal enticing albums forthcoming. I think I speak for both crowds that love their more "artsy" stuff along with the heavy we've come to know and love.
@Dustin Henson So true. I know plenty of bands which evolved and mature such as In Flames, Slipknot, Mushroomhead, A7X, Korn, and countless others Also in my personal opinion each of the evolution and maturation that each of these bands has experienced has been a good thing.
While I think its true that this is not as good as clayman, STYE etc. I like it when bands evolve over time
que cancion tan buena grandes in flames
I respect this as good music. I do not respect it as In Flames.
Riftborne OP ooooh
I do respect this as an opinion. I do not respect it as my opinion.
REALLY WTF IS THIS SONG?I THINK I AM IN LOVE
IN FLAMES WE TRUST
