She was 7 months with this why didn't they show her

I know it's been a few years since she sang this song but I still can't get over the fact that I didn't get on the site on time to download this song. I guess it's just that good (but then again I think everything Idina Menzel is awesome). Does anyone here perhaps got a copy and is willing to send it to me?

This will always be a mystery to me. Cause we can't see Idina anywhere, and she was 7 months pregnant at that time, so obviously she wasn't singing live. But, the orchestra is still playing! So either way:the orchestra doesn't really play, which would be ridiculous! Or another song was played at the event, and they added this music for the TV. Or they just recorded Idina singing a capella and the orchestra was really playing over the record. But still none of these propositions really make sense

Well she has won a Tony, but you are completely right. She deserves far more awards than she has received and she definitely deserves more than the auto-tuned voices heard today.

It was at Carnegie Hall when it originally premiered. Idina made her Carnegie Hall Debut this past April

The orchestra was live, but Idina's voice and the choir was prerecorded.

@chubssochubby Thanks. The TV version sucked... back recording all around, they just didn't understand that fireworks tend to be louder than people singing.
