It's kind of sad, though. What happened to this raw, witty, lyrical & RUTHLESS version of Ice Cube. Oh, that's right - fame and LOTS of money. This album & 'Death Certificate' are almost flawless ! That ain't easy to do in Hip-Hop. I wonder if we'll get just a glimpse of this old-school version of O'shea in the future. I thought that Dre would be able to bring it out....but neither 'Detox' or and N.W.A. reunion album materialized. Probably too much ego from both of them to work together on another album.....together. BUT there is hope, people.....remember that they produced their movie together. Perfect casting w/his son too. But they left out the time when Dre almost beat Dee Barnes to death. Much respect lost for Dre on that one. What type of guy beats a woman like that?? And she was right, anyway. Cube clearly won the battle with them. Anyway, I bang this album & the one mentioned, above....just to remind myself - JUST HOW FUCKIN' DOPE ICE CUBE USED TO BE.
