After you hear Chris sing the first verse, there is no chance for Kat (her part just sounds basic and emotionless). Sorry. She can't come close to emotion Chris pours in the nuances of his vocal techniques. This song should have just been Chris singing and maybe her as back-up. Imogen would have done justice to the song if she would have song Kat's parts.

tho Kat did a better job than I expected (she has a very pretty tone to her voice) I'd love to hear Chris sing with someone with a more emotive, wild voice..like Johnette Napolitano. Specially on songs like this that are left neatly folded...instead of getting into your soul and making a mess. I mean..if it's a duet thing. Chris's voice alone can make ones soul ache for days....

Imogen would have nailed it.

My favourite collabs are with him & Sue Denim or Imogen Heap.

I miss Sue's vocals on his tracks, even just as background vocals.

This song was so hyped and I was every bit excited but unfortunately, as much as I love Kat I find her voice very monotone when put in line with Chris's. The musical arrangement is stunning however.

Also agree. Chris did not need her on this record at all. The composition on this song is way too big for her voice. Chris as always nailed it because his voice is believable.

Sadly the only song on the album that I really, really like (except for the two singles).

Not even the Power and the Glory? I'd try giving the album another listen. Not forcing you to change your opinion or anything but most of the tracks on this album sound like a return to classic IAMX from Alternative/Volatile Times-era. The only weaker points I'd say are Break The Chain and Body Politics which grew on me after a couple listens more, the rest are bloody fantastic.

eh, idk, it's just.. for the last 2 or 3 CDs it's just been all the same dark, depressing, slow stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love dark, but I miss songs like Kiss and Swallow or Spit it out.

Sadly at first I was unimpressed, I had very high expectations from this release. Almost the whole album is just a mix of songs from the past. I mean, some tracks are okay, actually one or two are real gems (exit and mile deep hollow are my favorite), I don’t even know if I’m a bit disappointed or not. I hope to see a great live tour, cause,in my opinion, chris was a bit off-pitch in the last one :/
