At first I was just glad that Prom Queen were getting back together. Then I went and saw them with Parkway Drive and I was seriously keen to see what their new stuff was gonna be like and I gotta say, I am thoroughly pleased with what I hear :D

Last 3 songs on the album are somewhat bearable(actually pretty enjoyable) and something you could relate to actual I Killed the Prom Queen. This song is probably the best one. Good combination of melody and the rhythm part, breakdowns weren't shitty as well and the song didn't sound generic, nor was ruined by girly sounding clean vocals.

@havoren yeah its abit different than the other albums you mentioned but i still like it.
At first i wasnt too keen on I Killed the Prom Queens new album but ive been listening to it all week and its really grown on me, i like it possibly even better than MFTRD which was my all time favorite metal album haha

@irving valles I've never seen Issues live, but I bet they'll be good! I wasn't much of a fan of their music before, but now I like them after I gave them a few more chances. I'm not saying that everyone should listen to a band who gave them a bad first impression to force themselves to like them, but I guess I'm one of the few that'll give certain bands a second chance (even though I hate them) to see if I'll like them the next time. So whatever, thanks for the compliment though! :)

@Matt Bird That was only for Memento Vivere way back in 2011/2012, not the whole album.

This is probably going to be the best album of 2014. Such fucking heavy melodic riffs in their new music, I can't stand how good it is. It's just too brutally amazing!!! :'D

@Nathan Lombardi I heard their single "Chasing Ghosts" and I liked it...I think! It was a long time ago since I last listened to them so I'll try again later. And "Youngbloods" sounds like something off of Blessthefall's new album. I'll give that a try as well! Thanks for suggesting them to me.
