Everytime I listen to Ms,Phyllis I cry I still miss her to this day 2-7-2020. No one can touch the soul like she can. RIP My Queen.

I was fortunate enough to meet her backstage before one of her shows in New York...I had done a beautiful painting of her and when she saw it she gave me a big hug... I'll never forget her!

My daughter was conceived from this song back in 1979. Sadly, she passed sept 2019 at the age 39 from breast cancer. I break down every time I hear this

I was to see Phyllis perform at Yosh's in the Bay Area in March three months before she passed. I had to work late that night never thinking I would never get the chance ever again to see her perform.
