Hundredth - Shelter Lyrics
Separation from everything.
You boarded up your mind
With whatever you could find.
You chose shelter over the storm
So you could still smile.
Would be worthwhile.
I'd rather be awake and fight the misery.
I'll waste away if I stay asleep in my apathy.
I'm not satisfied, trapped in a lie
Locked inside, self-defiled
Mental Suicide
I see further and I feel more finely
And if that burden be the curse
It's a price worth paying.
Does the body rule the mind?
Or does the mind rule the body?
I think I finally know.
We have to fold something to make ends meet
We're backed into a corner
And forced to live on our knees.
They shun those who think
And silence those who speak.
But fuck authority,
Leaders make us weak.
Shelter your mind
For a little while
From the cold
Truth outside.
Evacuate.

Hundredth Shelter Comments
The music they wrote back then and the music they write now is honestly on par. It's a completely different genre and fanbase listening but it's 100 percent pure and beautiful. You just can't fucking knock the band unless you're genuinely close minded with not just your music taste, but your life and exploring things that are out of your comfort zone; though can bring equal amount of joy similar to something that confides within what you know.
This song is bomb!!!
Forever gonna miss older hundredth
InfinityzEdge too

Yo, socks off if you feel that abrupt ending.
And i thought Cancer was Bad smh
can your band do any better? probably not...
I'm Davie dirt on fb if you want to debate.
Who are you talking to?
What is this video even supposed to be about?....
+Elisile well, in my opinion, the shelter is obviously his house, and the rain outside is "the storm" as said in the lyrics, so in the lyrics he says "you chosed the shelter over the storm so you could smile" so the little kid running happy outside in the storm, represents that even when facing difficult times you should be happy, and enjoy life, that is what i think it means, sorry for my bad english if i commited any mistake :)
@New screamerguy Okay thank you :)

"Does the body rule the mind or does the mind rule the body" that lyric is from the smiths. I like how they did that. I like the msg their music is trying to send.
They gave another ode to the smiths in the song "Soul" from the album, let go.
