Hundredth - Hole Lyrics

Time
Time dissolving me
Forget
Forget about the pain

Just long enough
For your shadowplay
And we're all wrapped up
Passing through the grain

Compose
You know
Feel it out
But never let it show
Compose
You know
You'll never find
Enough to fill the hole
Enough to fill the hole
Enough to fill the hole

Climb
Up to see nothing
Throw
Everything away

Open up
Shed yourself of shame
Anything to get your skin in the game

Compose
You know
Feel it out
But never let it show
Compose
You know
You'll never find
Enough to fill the hole

Come around to find it
Feel it out, never let it show

You'll never fill the hole
You'll never fill the hole

Never compose
You know
Feel it out
But never let it show
Compose
You know
You'll never find
Enough to fill the hole
Enough to fill the hole

  5. B.... I....

    fantastic  wayt ....

  6. J.... C....

I would have never previously given this album a chance, because old hundredth was very generic and incredibly boring. So happy this came up on my spotify radio. Favorite album atm

  7. N.... !....

listing to this while I'm in a field at night... awesome.

  8. J.... P....

    Silversun Pickups

  9. I.... t....

    my fave song by far

  10. J.... G....

wow. kinda actually pretty dope. i can get used to it

  11. M.... R....

    Awesoooooooooome!!!!!!

  12. E.... M....

I can totally see Hundredth pulling a Turnover and not playing any of their old stuff live anymore. With this dramatic of a sound change, that's kind of the only option you'd have.

  13. R.... J....

Why do hardcore bands feel the need to switch genres to shoegaze? It just makes them boring and uninteresting.

  14. C.... ....

I'm liking this a lot more than their previous attempts. Always been a fan, but nothing ever grabbed me. It was just kinda... there. This, though—this is good. I'd like if they'd reimagine some of their old songs for live sets.

  15. V.... ....

I rarely say this but their new sound is dope. I hate when bands go softer but this band pulled it off amazingly well since I love their shoegaze sound

  16. P.... S....

    PIZDEC GOVNO

  17. v.... ....

I'm so here for this and not the hardcore stuff.

  18. J.... N....

trash. boring as fuck. blah blah new sound blah blah. they didn't get famous for this garbage. don't be like suicide silence. learn.

    J.... N....

    were not famous

    J.... N....

Kind of ironic that your profile picture is the album cover to Matriarch yet Veil Of Maya made a huge change with that album from there previous stuff by not including a single odd time signature and introducing a lot of clean vocals through out the entire record. They didn't get famous for "that garbage". Hundredth's sound change and this song specifically are anything but boring seeing how it's been 4 months since the album's release and I'm still bumping it, at the very least weekly despite having a plethora of new albums from other bands I could be listening. Suicide Silence poorly executed their change in sound, Hundredth obviously hasn't since their fan base is only growing now and they've separated themselves from the almost generic melodic hardcore sound they had previously and shared with too many other bands. Hopefully this album grows on you though because it's golden to me and golden to many others in my circle. Smoke some weed and vibe to it, bro.

  19. M.... T....

looks like they listen to stone roses but i like it )

  20. K.... ....

    Wow, Hundredth turned into shit.

    K.... ....

KsE You'll change your view on them when you grow out of the pathetic hardcore scene you live in.

  21. R.... D....

its amazing when a bands change their whole perspective from one genre to another, and turns out to be a huge success in both genres, hats off to Hundredth #Hundo4Lyfe

  22. E.... S....

What's with all the Metal Bands doing this Linkin Park Movement? Like why don't they rename the band. Different sound, Different name. Stop messing with our heads. Now when someone brings up Hundredth, its just going to be an agreement. Why would they want to bring that to their future projects? I like both side of their work. but these are 2 different bands with the same name

    E.... S....

Eric Shreds That's got to be a solid contender for the most egregiously stupid thing I've ever heard. I award you zero points.

    E.... S....

Not sure about the Linkin Park reference but totally agree with that. They're going to split fans with this I think even though the sound is essentially a good (a bit too much like Silversun Pickups I reckon, you could be mistaken in thinking that this was their new album).

  23. J.... O....

The old songs are great, but this is pretty amazing too.

Someone have listened more bands that sounds like the new Hundredth?

    J.... O....

Turnover, Balance&Composure, Title Fight, Citizen, Wild Nothing, Yuck, My Bloody Valentine, Whirr, Nothing, ........Most bands from indie record labels like RunforCover, Topshelf, BrokenRim, etc.

  24. C.... B....

the music is not bad, but do the vocals sound weird to anyone else? almost sounds way too quiet where you think they're eventually going to bust through, but always sounds covered by the rest of the music

    C.... B....

    Colin Bazzano that's very intentional

  25. G.... G....

    these songs....just..amazing.

  26. C.... N....

That was one hell of a trip!!

  27. C.... Z....

    This is fucking garbage

    C.... Z....

well. looks like your hole will remain empty

    C.... Z....

Arman Rahman i have 4 kids

  28. T.... C....

Some of y'all really need to have some respect for a band that can write music from two completely different genres and absolutely pull it off. Their heavy stuff is really good and this stuff is fucking amazing too.

I mean really, think about it... How many bands can transition so effortlessly to a different genre? There's few bands that can even write consistent music from one genre.

    T.... C....

    PREACH BOI.

    T.... C....

Title Fight, Daylight, Turnover..just to name a few.

    T.... C....

A perfect example is Parkway Drive's newest track Prey... it is HOT GARBITCH. I have never been more disappointed with a band transitioning to something different. They went from really melodic metalcore with great riffs and breakdowns to this really bland southern metal influenced tripe. At least bands like Hundredth and The Contortionist pulled off their transitions with style... Parkway is just fucking lazy.

  29. D.... F....

I fuck with this new sound

  30. S.... ....

Every song is mind blowing on this, love Neurotic the most. Will preorder on vinyl soon.

  31. x.... ....

what's with the singer singing in a cave style?

    x.... ....

    xScreamToRisex thats a shoegaze thing

  32. d.... ....

i like the new silver sun pickups

  33. C.... B....

This is WAY better than their previous style. The older stuff was just generic hardcore that's been done by thousands of other bands.

    C.... B....

Melodic Hardcore has become way too watered down and cookie cutter these days.

    C.... B....

No hate, appreciate the direction they are going, but this new style is also pretty "generic" to say it in your words, there are tons of bands that sound pretty similar.

    C.... B....

kaibamte haha yeah I guess you're right about them sounding like several other bands with the new shoe gaze craze going on but I just love that this genre is coming back but with a little different style.

    C.... B....

yeah no hate, i myself love that genre and the bands that play this style of music too, its is just that i think there are so many bands that just play this whole shoegaze kind of thing much better and more authentic, like Hyperview by Title Fight or Peripheral Vision by Turnover. To me it just feels a little bit like Hundredth want to jump on that new "wave of emo/shoegaze". No offense, love them for what they do and the way they are heading, but i can't take them quite serious after they said they just played this hardcore stuff because it was the hyped genre back in the day. I think their hardcore sound was pretty unique and their live shows were insane, all that energy going on. But so is the new stuff, i'm just a little bummed that they present their new style as super fresh and new, while its half of the bands of RunforCover records that play a pretty similar kind of music.

    C.... B....

@kylelicense wth people this is in no way generic shoegaze

  34. F.... ....

song sounds awesome, but i wish the vocal was louder.
would have made it for me

  35. J.... A....

    MUITO BOM ,,,,,, ABRAÇO ,,,,,,,,,,

  36. t.... ....

I'm not gonna lie, shoegaze is hands down my least favorite alternative genre, and I'm really disappointed in the style change. I guess more power to them though for taking a risk. Hopefully other people will enjoy it more than I do.

    t.... ....

will do, thanks for the recommendation.

    t.... ....

    UberGamezHD or gazecore? Shoecore? Hardgaze?

    t.... ....

This genre is called: generic shoegaze... does me good

    t.... ....

Yeah. Not to be negative, it's cool they do what they want, and it's cool for people to enjoy that, but I really liked what Hundredth did. Shoegaze is fine by me, but we have enough shoegaze bands as it is.

    t.... ....

    Do we? :)

  37. E.... B....

    That was cool, gotta say...

  38. N.... !....

fucking awesome! I like this more than the songs in the past and they were awesome.

  39. W.... T....

    Praise y'all.

  40. A.... R....

This song must be loads of fun getting high on. Scratch that, the entire album is a hipster's paradise!

  41. R.... ....

This sounds exactly like Nothing and I'm into it.

  42. d.... f....

this is horrible. did y'all listen to citizen and be like yea let's do that?

    d.... f....

    Sounds nothing like Citizen

    d.... f....

looks like you've listened to citizen with the wrong hole..

    d.... f....

doll face nice hipster name drop 🙄

  43. B.... S....

    nice vibes!

  44. c.... ....

this album will fill my hole

    c.... ....

    catface LMBO

    c.... ....

go to adult swim and watch "you're whole" this comment made me laugh harder than it needed to

  45. J.... L....

    damn this is absolutely incredible

    J.... L....

    Jesper Lust jesperrrr

  46. t.... ....

Hell yeah! More bands like this?

    t.... ....

Check the OG 90s stuff. Catherine Wheel, Ride, Swervedriver, Chapterhouse are all classic shoegaze with heavier rock influence.

    t.... ....

check out superheaven's album "jar". closest thing to this style out of any of the bands listed.

    t.... ....

check the song youngest daughter by them.

    t.... ....

Thanks! What songs should i start off with?

    t.... ....

    Thanks alot buddy.

  47. D.... S....

The New Style is fucking awesome.

  48. B.... ....

    Good work guys!

  49. L.... ....

    So damn good

  50. O.... ....

man this album is gonna be sooo good.

  51. h.... ....

    Let's bury these old songs!

    h.... ....

Let's not. I would like to remember that I actually used to enjoy this band, thanks very much.,

    h.... ....

trandicosta92 both sounds are good my dudes

    h.... ....

There is always Misery Signals, Shai Hulud and Comeback Kid for that.

    h.... ....

Yeah, they are plenty of bands that did the whole melohardcore thing much better. I dig the shoegazy sound.
