@Vincent G I did not claim the throat singing came from the west in fact I very specifically called out the vocal style coming from their own clture, however this is very clearly rock music.Which was born in the west, this is not traditional Mongolian music, but rather a fusion of that music with rock music. You should listen to some traditional Mongolian music as well, it is quite pretty. But I doupt this particular sound would exist without the influence of rock music from the west.
