@Tara G no another song was played during that scene, i skimmed through the movie and couldnt find that song anywhere so i dont get how you were able to hear it in the movie.

If it is not that scene it may be at the very end of movie or when they are standing nearing a fence. It plays for a brief time.  There is another song that plays near this scene also called Come to the Light by Jill Scott also. (I have not seen this remake movie in years; plus these two songs stood out to me. Plus the songs are also on the soundtrack.)

Well I enjoy both movies. I grew up seeing the original first (I will be age 30 this year) so when this remake was released, I had remembered enjoying the first one so why not see this one and I think Christina Milan is cute. Thanks!

I think he was raped by some people in the industry. That is why he took his eye out. It blew his mind what they did to him. Go listen to his interview and you will see why i said that. Very true. The industry is a sick perverted place. It's now 2019 and all that stuff is coming to light finally. Houston had a solid foundation, especially with an album called "It's already written" of course they were trying to break him.

he recently did an interview on youtube.. search Houston Break Silence, its kinda sad actually because he doesn't imply that he's coming back as a singer and his eye is completely messed up... i loved this guy so much.. i guess we have this album to hold on to!

He did that like 3 years ago in 2005. He might be bipolar or manic depressant, and he could have been high too, but he first tried to jump off the balcony (20 floors up) they stopped him from doing that then he locked himself in the bathroom and gouged his eye out saying God wanted him to stop seeing evil.

He attempted to carve his eye out with a pen or something cause apparently he was suicidal because mere minutes before he tried that he tried to jump out the second or third story window. He's currently in rehab...even if he only have one eye (persay) he can be a new age Slick Rick.
