I am not a "thumbs downer" out of respect for any attempt to worship - but since you asked why some aren't liking this song: It is soooooo formulaic, its completely derivative in every way, says nothing original and except for its subject matter (a very worthy God) it is utterly boring and the performance is rote/commercial... sounds just like 999999999999999999999999999999 songs that came before it. Listen to some Neal Morse, Sons of Korah, or Paul Wilber Worship Music and you will hear the possibilities missed here.

@BluesLicks101 Remember that this is their experience with God. It seems apparent that you are claiming that the Transcendant God is not immanent too. He is so dynamic that we cant box Him in. The lyrics are biblical, the repetition may be for effect. As an African, we have many repetitive but potent songs. People from other cultures may think our songs are not edifying but when you are in Gods presence, even the few lyrics sung over and over again get embedded deeply in your spirit..
