I will always support hotel books and cam in whatever they do. and I'm enjoying the more intense screaming in this song but hotel books to me will always be the more emotional and passionate stuff they did, the songs where you get chills because you hear cam breaking from the words that he's saying. I've never found music with such raw emotion like that and that's what I loved about them.

This is so much better... not talking the whole song.
BUT hopefully this was by their own choice and not the label "Encouraging" them to change.

I know that people will probably feel that I am criticizing this song. I am not, but simply saying that personally I feel that this song would be so much better if he actually sing the parts where he just speaks because he has a great voice.

Yeah I understand people have preferences to me the screams make the music more emotional

I personally showed favoritism to his songs that felt less like actual songs but more poetry slams. And I got a slight BMTH vibe for like two seconds and it made me uncomfortable. Good music tho; good content

Such beauty. I always respected bands that play inspired music with creative lyrics + those who took at least more than 5 minutes to find a good band name. Hotel Books is unique all around. There's so many bands that has the same name. I don't get how 4-5 dudes all together can't come up with something original.

They were never songs, they were spoken word poems. But I'm glad you enjoy his art better now.

While I love this album, but now they are going straight into a musical coarse and sound like every other band out there. The spoken word was made them stand out and poetic; now it's just another song.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the new style and I'm glad that Cam is doing what he wants with his work, but I enjoyed the older stuff more. Still great work like usual though, keep it up Cam!

Definitely agree. Spoken Word was the poetry at heart. Now he sounds like every other band. No originality.
