Unfortunately, that surface image is all people care about these days. The day will soon approach where loyalty will be more precious than diamonds. Of course, it always has been. Shortly the value of such traits will be evidently obvious. There has always been something wrong with me since birth. Always questioned everything. Seeing right through people doesn't matter much to me these days. Have to get prepared.

This album was, to me, the perfect way to end the last millennium, sonically.

I love this band, and they still feel fresh and rich and trippy to me........

My favorite song on possibly my all-time favorite album.  I discovered this album 12 years ago and I still never get tired of it.  It has such a magical quality to it.  As I get older and become more jaded about humanity this album restores my faith in the beauty and possibilities that still exist in the world.

@zedosix same here. I had heard the "circles" before but had no idea it was hooverphonic who made it.

@zedosix ~ Blue Wonder Power Milk is an excellent album released in 1998, with 18-year-old Geike Arnaert on vocals... {See how radiantly lovely she is, singing in the video for the single "Club Montepulciano"} which incidentally was a big hit in their native Belgium. I highly recommend this album... but my personal favorite is still The Magnificent Tree.

Spectrum Winterguard (colorguard) uses this song (clips of it, and of 'Battersea' and 'Strange Effect') in their 2009 show, and so the songs give me the shivers. I love that show with a fiery passion, and hence these songs! I cant not think of thier dance work and of pulling the floor out with the magenta on the back, and the amazing flag work, and...*fangirly scream*

Ahh, Magenta... The most deeply mysterious song on "Blue Wonder Power Milk". As a Psychedelic Society lives in the light of the mystery of being, we love this song.
