yeah, I saw the Honorary Title back in 2005 or 2006 and they really sounded just like their studio recording...they were freakin amazing.

AGGGHHHHH!!!!! They were so amazing live! There are very few bands that have live performances as good as(or better) than their studio recordings but OMGosh they were amazing! Would love to see them do a reunion tour. And Jarrod is so friggin nice!

No, they don't sound like either The Killers or Muse. The killers have massive amounts of keys and synth and Muse has tons of effects, especially bass. Also, both of those bands have more pronounced basslines.

i know where you're coming from, but all i'm saying is i'm sure they could've easily sfx-ed the people in white out of view -- more complex things have been done in a video, and i'm sure they could've afforded to do so with the money they saved on not having digital letters jumping around in the first place. watch a michel gondry film -- in my opinion, a great illustration of how low-tech production values dont't necessarily have less merit.

I would have agreed with you, but you can clearly see from the way they fade in and out that it was not on purpose. Perhaps because I've worked with projects involving keying out the "dummys", I see it as bad production. I did try to see it as part of the video but alas could not.

first, a guitar doesn't have a "BEET" (beat..its a riff) and i think The Killers are way more popper, this song just doesn't show the usual Honorary Title. his voice is a little like the killers lead singer, just in this song, but more deeper and rougher. check their other songs and you'll see his voice is nothing like his
