A very close friend of mine passed recently and she loved HU. Particularly this song and young.
It's crazy how much the lyrics speak to me right now. I been listening to these two songs on repeat for the past 2 days now because they remind me of her and the good times we had. For this being what i consider a sad song, i see it as a message to keep going.

I really love hollywood undead. Ive been a fan since I was 8 or 9. I love them because they sing and write from their heart, I really hope I can meet one of these guys one day and thank them for everything they have done for me. Some songs bring good memories and some bring bad, but either way they are by far one, if not my favorite band. Sadly, I had my dream of becoming a musician crushed long ago, I still atempt to play, and I may even be starting a band with one of my friends, my dream is to move to california and open a tattoo shop and maybe, just maybe tattoo one of the members. I will always and forever love Hollywood Undead and I hope generations after me will enjoy listening to their music ❤🤘 #hollywoodundead

I lost my friend Jaden a few years ago. He was loved by many including me. I sunk deep into a pit after hearing the news of his untimely passing. He was so young and I looked forward to seeing him again at school the next day. After a fell into that pit, I began to see him often, either in the mirror, thinking someone was him, or just catching glimpses of him. Charlie Scene, J3T and Danny are my favorites. I really love how Charlie Scene has changed since the Swan Songs days. He's a great rapper, but also a great singer, and when Deuce was the lead singer, Charlie never really sang, but now with Danny, he gets his chance as well and I'm happy for that. Rain, Bullet, I'll Be There and Gotta Let Go are some of my favorite HU songs.

First time I listened to this, I thought Danny was a girl for a split second screech nostalgia

What many people don’t realize what one of this songs meaning is. It’s talked about how many young service members in the military die at a young age in J3T verse. There’s a saying “In peace sons bury fathers but in war fathers bury sons.” , how the governments looks at us members as just numbers. In the end of J3T verse. Then in Charlie’s verse how many of our veterans end up homeless or alone in a home with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) such as some members are retired NCOs (non-commissioned officers) seeing their joes (aka lower enlisted) die in front of them or blame themselves for not being able to bring them home alive. Or how some joes see their entire platoon wiped out. Just how many end up taking their own lives. This is why one of my favorite songs of Hollywood undead because it shows that they do care about us military members.
