Hollywood Undead - Bad Town Lyrics
[Operation Ivy cover]
They call it a scene
I call it disaster
damn here the kids grew up faster
pack of wolves they don't run alone
one on one they don't look you in the eye
but when the pack's together there's a battle cry
yeah I saw it fifteen on one
When the crowd dispersed the kid was done
[chorus]
No (no more)
No (bad town)
No more bad town
No (bad town)
No more bad town
Down there you gotta have a label
Just like a cattle in a stable
Knee jerk reaction I call it violence
Why speak out when you could be silenced
Down there on the dance floor
Too much violence I dont want more
Down there out on the street
I can see the air I can see the heat
[chorus]
No (no more)
No (bad town)
No more bad town
No (no more)
No (bad town)
No more bad town
[chorus]
No (no more)
No (bad town)
No more bad town
No (no more)
No (bad town)
No more bad town
No no no
more bad towm
No no no
more bad town
[chorus]
No (no more)
No (bad town)
No more bad town
No (no more)
No (bad town)
No more bad town

Hollywood Undead Bad Town Comments
this song is fun to dance to
This makes me so happy xD
This is straight trash.
Derek K better then that original ass song
@red-rum HU has better vocals, everything else about this version is worse than the original
Sgt. Baker the original is fucking trash, this version sounds way better, the old on sounds so bad like how can you call that music
God this fucking sucks
This version is way better, can't change my mind.
Just to let everyone know they did not write this. Operation Ivy did.
Talk about destroying the soul of a legendary punk song...yikes.
Jesus christ. The shitty drum machine, cliche American pop vocals and guitar tone, and the horrible fake brass are so awful. They turned a great ska-punk track into an awful, cheesy, pop-rock song.
personally I prefer the original, it sounds more chill. plus u can hear that lovely bass more clearly
Original: Nice, soft flow and classy
This one: Happy beat, awesome for parties
This sounds like it was made with a shitty bootleg trial version of FL Studio
Lost the punk feel to the cover. 6/10 with a dislike
How tf didn't I find this song earlier???*?
better than original good job guys.
Sorry, Hollywood undead just sounds shitty and cheap to me, ive tried to like them, I just can't. Maybe its an aquired taste, I don't know... Op Ivy kicks ass compared to this
The comments on cover videos are nice to see people arguing about which one is better it’s not like the other ones with shitty memes
This is complete trash!
op ivy is better... way better
So fuckin butchered
911 likes on this song good job my bros! :) 911...
I have nothing against them but op ivy did a million times better
how the fuck were HU responsible for this masterpiece of a cover
this is the funniest fucking thing on desperate measures
bad town is legendary
I think this is the first video ive ever made of point of disliking lol
this sounds like ska and im diggin it
Idk why but when I listen to the beginning of the song with the trumpets and stuff I feel like I'm in Mexico
Is this even real?
I love J Dog's voice! I love u J Dog! ❤😍
tbh both versions are good ok
this is so much better than the real song. fact.
original is better. why?
they created a genre from that album. Hollywood undead is a bunch of suburban wiggers who think masks make them edgy.
Operation Ivy blended genres together to start an actual movement, punk isn't meant to sound organized clean and melodic,
Guard Passer You realize you went to a song done by a band with dedicated fans and insulted them then complained about getting hate from the fanbase you just insulted right?
hey op, maybe let people enjoy what they want instead of being an asshole? thanks.
Guard Passer we like HU because of there music not there masks
Meatloaf152 Productions Ya but there masks are pretty kick ass!
"bunch of suburban wiggers who think wearing masks make them edgy"
1, they don't wear masks for that reason
and 2, you know nothing about them, so don't act like you do
Shit instrumentals. Jesse's vocals can't be replaced.
I mean, props to HU for showing operation ivy some love, but this is shit like everything else this band does lmao
Hi, Welcome to youtube. If your looking for nickleback, sick puppies or maybe Shinedown. There in the Generic/Repetitive section.
The fuck is this!
I don't get why people are losing their shit, first of all they didn't ruin the song, frankly they made it better, no offense to the singer of OP ivy but the lyrics don't sound like someone got high, and second their jus paying homage to a band and song they like.
Monster Hunter166 Ikr, I love the original but the band just sound so bored. At least H.U. Cover sounds fun
one in my class says he likes heavy metal he put on a playlist and this gay shit comes on i fucking died worst thing i'v ever heard in my life
It amazes me that HU actually still has fans considering it's not 2008 anymore. The only thing they did to this song was turn it into a shitty rap song and took all the energy out of it.
Playing Dark Souls: "No, no more! No, Blighttown! No more Blighttown!"
I think the original version sounds like shit.
This cover sounds like a few 13 year old skaters who watch rob dyrdek all day long had to make this for their for their music class final exam.... I like hollywood undead but c'mon dude.... seriously.......
Nice job butchering the song
no danny or duece man
THIS SONG IS GOLD! 😂😂💕💕
I honestly think that Operation Ivy did it better, but that's just my silly personal opinion. You can't criticize me for having an opinion. HU did it well too, but honestly the original is better because, well, it's the original.
2:03 FAIL >TOWM< XD LOL
LOLa o_O I saw that too lol
Fucking love HU 💜💜 they're the best every song is perfect. All you haters need to stfu
+Pikachu Nerd AGREE
this fucking song sucks
Atrocious
this song works for them so well. both songs are good but this is the best because of all there voices. no hate
I like this one a bit better but they're both good
People think this us a terrible song because 1 they think the sounds of it sound bad like for kids 2 Even if they are fans they might not undestand the true concept 3 THIS IS THERE SPECIALTY!!! MAKING A SONG FILLED WITH violence AND MAKE IT SOUND child like its there specialty How DO YOU THINK THE SONG BULLET WAS POPULAR???
this is the best best song ever!
-No (J3T)
-No more (J-Dog)
-No (J3T)
-No more (J-Dog)
-No more bad town (Charlie Scene)
Mateusz W actually:
- No (J3T & Charlie Scene)
- No more (J-Dog & Funny Man)
- No (J3T & Charlie Scene)
- No more (J-Dog & Funny Man)
- No more bad town (J3T & Charlie Scene)
Listened to both. Personally, HU DID BETTER, cause Undead, literally, cant fucking fail on anything.
+Hizukashi Yugure they fucking failed on this one
+Sloshblobder Poor you failed at life
+Sloshblobder Poor
And you're on a Hollywood Undead song criticising people for liking them.
I'm pretty sure the fail is you, kid.
What Do You Mean They Did Better??!! This Is Awesome Bro (Onichan Japanese Language)
Let me say, that I'm an Operation Ivy fan through and through, and as such I'm a huge fan of the original. I decided to give their cover its day in court, and honestly, from a technical standpoint it is far better. I give them a major round of applause for that, but that being said I still prefer the original. If I could state my case, its because the raw, tinny and haphazard recording of the original gave it a charm that is washed away in this version. Really, it boils down to personal opinion, and I consider myself a purist.
They honestly didn't really change much, it's just less distorted
All these Operation Ivy fans losing their shit, this is fucking hilarious!
+wyatt malm actually Hollywood undead bullshit not scene bullshit get your facts right
@Lucy Bell Hollywood undead will never be what operation ivy was.
+wyatt malm and they don't wanna be like OI because they suck balls.
How high were you when you posted that dumbass comment of yours? Operation Ivy only did 1 album and lasted just 2 years. Hollywood Undead is going on 12 years and is about to release their 5th album in October. EPIC FAIL on your part fool!
+ChrisK: How'd you grow up on a band that only existed for ~1 album? Rancid, I could see... but Operation Ivy didn't exist long enough :P
I like this song better than the original, way more
Wow, the original is really garbage compared to this
its because op. ivy didnt have the right sound equipment
operation ivy is way better then this shit
Excuses
Only because you live in the past. HU > Op. Ivy.
Lol neh
What in the flying fuck. Stupid metal pop rap shit heads ruined a perfectly good song
+atombomb22 Ruined? A perfectly good song? HAHAHA! HOLY SHIT! The comments you Op Ivy fags leave are pure gold! I'm sorry that they actually sing in this song, the Operation Ivy prick was literally just talking, no talent whatsoever.
Fucking ruined a perfectly good song.
bro how could this ruin the song? this sounds professionally done, by people with actual talent. the original sounds like a bunch of kids in their basment, and even then, not talented kids.
this shit sucks
why not just die?
you
die too
How so, I'd love to hear your reasoning
2:12 towm lol
The line where they say 15 on 1 reminds me of a park in the town I live in. All of the kids there have mace, knives, batons you name it at least one or the other has been pulled on me. They never fight 1 on 1 either.
No deuce in this song
You guys Know a cover isn't made to be better right?
But this one is, what does that tell you?
Are you saying It is better or it was made to be better?
Maybe it's not made to be better, but it's better
This reminds me of another song 0-0
good song :D makes me happy :D
it feels like im learning o.o ehh
J3T sings with Jdog in chorus, it's not only Jdog
u can hear it clearly in the "NO" part
@Crackz0r94 Actually, Charlie and J-Dog sing the chorus. You can hear Charlie when he says, "No more bad town."
@DANtheMANofSIPA I can agree about hearing him at 2:07 the ""no more bad town" but J3T is definitely in the chorus, I recognize his heavy timbre vocal weight, specially in the second chorus, check 1:10 you can hear him clearly shouting the NO
2:13 spelling mistake
says bad towm
I noticed that literally a second before I saw this comment XD
The trumpets sound like they're laying the Mexican Clapping song from my 6th grade band class o.0
cuz its a synthesizer not real horns
ok people i don't usually do this but when you go on a video just to say it ruins the song who cares its a cover and i know people have their own opinions but its a little annoying when i see like 50 (exaggeration) hate comments it ruins the song they are shit wtf its a fucking cover
I think most of them come because if you look at comments on videos for the original, all you see is crap like "the cover is better" or "this version sucks" etc.
This is what happen to a second-rate band covering a song from a highly influential ska punk band. in one word it's terrible. the fuck with rap, the original singer is way better than this crappy rapper. and transplants(two of the original members are from op ivy) is way better than hollywood undead.
Also what rap songs have guitars in it?
@Mike Ike You obviously don't understand that the original had meaning to it and wasn't a shit knock off by a overrated boy band. You also obviously don't get that the original was a great song with Tim Armstrong's vocals and without a Shi backing track.
@Politikill Trash they arent a gay "boy band" lol
+Mike Ike you tell em Mike Ike
@***** Actually in the case of Op Ivy Jesse wanted to sound angry because he was, he was yelling against a corrupt government and a lack of unity. He was angry at the amount of racism and discrimination. He actually put meaning to the song where this shit band just played it to try to appeal to more people and get more money. Which judging bu the comments didn't work at all. Actually a lot of the fans of this band seem to have absolutely no respect for where this song came from or what it used to mean and still mean to some people.
lump your head better
@GamingFreak559 Stop comparing apples and oranges.
i dont have favorites anymore there all good
Way to ruin a song
Way to be a dick.
Why? The original is shit. This is much more better
@Sean Kolbek The original and the cover are both awesome.
How so?
I love Hollywood Undead, I really do. But this song I didn't really like
I like this version better, I hate the guy's voice in the original. He sounds way to lazy and unmotivated, this song sounds better upbeat and livelier. But, that is my opinion and you might think differently.
Jesse was on drugs hella back in the day that is why. OG Op Ivy is some of the most energetic punk out there though you should check it out more. Bankshot, Missionary, I Got No are all really fast energetic songs
jared_ you are a complete fucking tard. Tell that to the kids back in the day living in the Vats, the Church, or C-Squat. Educate yourself before you criticize because you just sound like a dumb ass.
Spicy Boii so? Black Sabbath recorded their first two albums in 1970 and yet Ozzy sounded like he was actually interested in the music that they were making
Tim Armstrong is a phrasing genius. He will stand the test of time like Joe Strummer.
@Nothing2Interesting "fascist"
HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD IF YOU LOVE US PLZ STICK TOO YOUR ORIGINAL SONGS. COVERS JUST DON"T WORK FOR YOU!!!
they know they dont like doing either
Maybe they just picked the wrong song to make a cover of. I gotta admit, i like HU's version better than the original, but neither of them is that good. But i really like the song Shout At The Devil, and that song is a cover as well.
In MY opinion they can't do covers.
i dont like this cover i love it xd its really good man... haters gonna hate
This is the only one song what i dont like.
yeah write man its fake song but I dont like some
@Giorgi Davituliani It's not a fake song, it's a cover
They should do a "This is Halloween" cover.
$kēētøwñ Gød 🖕👌💯 they really should
HU soldier always & forever but this song tho.... V-V........ not the best
I don't like this song but i like all of the other HU songs. so does that mean that I don't like all of them because I don't like this one??? Isn't this only a cover of the original?
iz okay
well!! this is like the only hollywood undead song i have never heard haha
This sounds like something you would hear while playing Mario Kart >.<
And that's why HU don't do covers anymore.
They fucking ruined it
you fucking ruined this
i think this is much better than the original
Yeah, see, THIS guy knows what he's talking abo... oh shit i'm a year late...
Icda1212 lol
O shit bois, whaddap
what ever one of the HUs guys came up with doing an OP cover needs to be shot .and the drum mix WTF! I would like to say they can do better then this but hearing this.NO!!!
Operation Ivy wrote this song I'm pretty sure. They're a ska-punk band who broke up in 1989. A vocalist, Tim Armstrong and the Bassist, Matt Freeman continued a pursuit in music and started a band called Rancid.
They 100% wrote this song. This version is HOT garbage.
no, it's a cover, from whom I don't know, someone else in the comment section referred to a "Operation Ivy", but I don't know if those where the original artists, I would assume yes however.
It's funny. I only listened to maybe 3 hollywood undead songs last year. Then a few months ago I started listening to more after I had a dream about them. Now Im a huge fan. Wish they didnt cancel thier show at the marquee theater on Oct.13th :(
Did Hu come up with song?
I thought Shady was in this?
It's embarrassing that they use technology to help them with their songs?
why is everyone arguing black ivy is better its a fuckin cover chill the fuck out and I personally think they did this better but HEY its my thought not yours so FUCK OFF
unfortunately your opinion is wrong. the fact that there is a drum machine in this is embarrassing
Also me and my friends are going to start making videos (IRL ones) and we were going to start soon but I was wondering what video editor I should use. We are getting Sony Vegas but should we get Sony Vegas 12 studio edition or Sony Vegas movie studio HD 11 platinum edition? (BTW were not getting Pro for either because are limit is at like 150$ and under but we want something that will last a good while for some what not complicated videos)
