I'm sensing a language barrier here (Spanish to English perhaps, but also with Biblical terminology), so I'll explain. And to define terms from the Bible so we're on the same page: "praise" = speaking or singing words about God's goodness, to God or to others; "worship" = you live by His Commandments dedicated to Him and His Way as a living sacrifice.

Praise vs. Worship in Scripture:

• _Nehemiah __12:46__ (NIV)_

46 _For long ago,_ _in the days of David and Asaph,_ _there had been directors for the musicians and for the_ *songs of praise* _and thanksgiving to God._

• _Psalm 33:2 (NIV)_

2 *Praise* _the Lord_ *with* _the harp;_
    _make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre._

• _Psalm 145:21 (NIV)_

21 _My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord._
    _Let every creature praise his holy name_
    _for ever and ever._

Any time you set apart time to speak well of God or to just truthfully describe actual aspects about Him (lyrically, with words, set to song or not), you're praising Him (speaking well of Him).

Worship, in contrast:

Worship in contrast isn't about singing but about whom we bow down to, whom we submit to, thus to whose way of being we submit to. To worship God is to submit to Him and what He says to do because we hold Him in high esteem (like a king whom you bow down to, to worship). If you worship the King, then you express approval of Him as your leader, you trust Him to guide us, protect us, lead us, as His nation, that His ways and reasoning capacity are better, so we bow down to how He said we should interact with Him as the Creator and with the rest of His creations (including our own bodies). You obey His Way of being, thinking, doing, interacting. You surrender to His Word, His instructions in every area of life: how we think, speak, dress, eat, spend our time and money, etc. As your governmental leader, you submit to His Laws.

So, if you're looking for Hollyn's worship, you would have to follow her around in life like a paparazzi and look inside her heart to see what she is doing and why she is doing what she is doing: is she submitting to a Command? an obedient example in the Bible that she saw?

Thanking God for the place that He has placed her in in life where she can praise Him through music, just soak in all of Him, and she is satisfied, even if it's a lonely walk because she has no one (human) by her side at night, and people can't really see who she really is (like God can), but God knowing her is enough and is satisfying, even when people don't really know her.

Now, we should have no problems with her expressing this—these feelings of loneliness and God being satisfaction enough—considering the Psalms of David when he expressed feelings of loneliness, even his fears and worries to God, not only when he was lonely for having no one by his side, but specifically lonely when everyone turned against him (a different kind of loneliness). Not every single verse in David's song mentions God, yet David praised Him too in the midst of describing his worries and fears:

10 _My heart pounds,_ _my strength fails me;_
    _even the light has gone from my eyes._
11 _My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds;_
    _my neighbors stay far away._

    _like the mute,_ _who cannot speak;_

David is expressing his worries to God in song, and this isn't a private song. David would write this poetry and set it to music, giving it to the music director in charge of the singing choirs, to be sung to the whole congregation of Israel.

Things that made him sad even, but even in that sadness, he gives glory to God.

Same with love songs, in the sense of erotic love between a man and a woman, though referred to euphemistically in ways that won't make the hearer stumble into sin: consider the Songs of Solomon. It is 8 chapters long, the love between a man and a woman, him and her, but not a single time does Solomon ever mention God explicitly at all (yet this song is still in the Bible). It's still a love song. No one doubts that Solomon's songs on a deeper level spoke about God and God's love to His people just because God isn't mentioned in a single verse of what he penned down in that book/scroll.

As long as the themes are things that the God of the Bible would approve of, then it is a Christian song that gives praise to YHWH's Way (e.g. for example, loyalty, love, gentleness, patience, not caring about people knowing you as long as God knows you, eliminating evil, justice, mercy, etc, even just simply describing how reality is, how your life is going [for example, like I showed above, how David got betrayed by everyone who knew him, even betrayed by friends. Even though God disapproves of betrayal, David wrote about it because that is real life, and ultimately that Psalm gave glory to God when David said that the vengeance for the betrayal would be in God's hands or when he was thanking God for never leaving him when others did]).

• _Psalm __27:10__ (NIV)_

10 _Though my father and mother forsake me,_
    _the Lord will receive me._

I appeal to you: before you start judging Hollyn, make sure to take the plank out of your own eye (an impediment to your understanding/ability to see what is wrong or even sins/error in you), otherwise you will not see clearly to take the speck that is in her eye. Familiarize yourself—very well—with how music is obediently expressed by the believer in the Bible, so that you don't make a misjudgment.

At the end of the day, I think there are two main reasons why you're misjudging Hollyn here (1) being unaware of obedient examples in Scripture that reflect what she is doing, (2) perhaps English isn't your most fluent language so I would understand why you reacted the way that you did (you didn't pick up on what she was _actually_ saying). But please do your best to investigate into the matter (and really listen hard) before condemning someone.
