This is their "swan song"; the last release to hit the charts back in '83. I was never sure why they picked it out of the universe of material they could have chosen. Great rendition, nonetheless!

Great cover! I had tickets to see them in Pittsburgh, PA in 1983. Went to the concert hall and no one was there! Concert was cancelled and no one was told! Very disappointing! My only chance to see them - gone forever!

Gotta hand it to Nash for going back, probably as a favour for his best friend Allan Clarke. I mean, it’s so cabaret ! Not exactly CSNY is it? Can’t help thinking the rest of the band should have run with the songs Nash was writing in the late 60’s instead of rejecting them, that’s why he headed for the USA. They’d all be rock legends by now, instead of old pop stars. Clarke and Hicks are such great musicians, but think they under achieved when the 60’s ended.

Hollies became a cabaret band unfortunately! Wearing suits and doing covers! Clarke a great Singer! just didn’t write enough great songs of there own! Supremes version fantastic! and a great band played on it!
The Hollies were like many English bands, The Beatles included, that covered many American artist. The Beatles once said that The Miracles of Smokey Robinson lead, were once their favorite American artist only to proclaim Harry Nilsson before Abbey Road is released. In many ways, I prefer The Hollies over the Beatles. Just as The Moody Blues offers other taste.
Graham Nash was wearing those same red shoes when I saw "The Hollies" at Busch Gardens Williamsburg in the early 80's!

Twenty years after their first hit they still had it! The group is still rockin' on today but not with as many original members. Still good!

This is so cheesy and 80s, yet when Alan Clarke steps up to the mic and that voice comes out, with the harmonies following, it's still magic.
Allan Clarke was pretty much the saving grace of the 1983 Hollies reunion with Graham Nash who was suprisingly unmotivated and seemed disinterested from the get go.
Kick it and praise it !! ( I like your style) :+)
this could have been a great song but the keyboard part was weak. something else was missing musically too, otherwise their harmony and the beat was really catchy. i wish they would try this one over.
