Hollies, The - Just One Look Lyrics
[Chorus:]
Just one look
I felt so I, I, I'm in love
With you
I found out
To have your love
Say you will
Will be mine
Forever and always
Just one look and I knew
That you were my only one
I thought I was dreaming
But I was wrong, yeah yeah yeah
Oh, but I'm gonna keep on scheming
Make you my own
Can't you see
That I really care
Without you
I'm nothin'
Just one look
And I knew
I'll get you some day
[Chorus]
Just one look, that's all it took
Just one look

55 years on and the song still holds up! This was a great cover by the Hollies of this Doris Troy original.
Oh the 60s music. Just one listening it was all it took, and I knee knew knew knew......
This song and other from the 60s are songs I listen to on my way to work. The music they play there is so annoying. Nothing's compared to this sort of music. I love it. Thanks for uploading!

2018 yeah baby....
The Hollies destroyed this song . Doesn't hold a candle to the Doris Troy orginal
This is a great group, but just because you can sing it doesn't mean any song....they should have left it to Doris Troy...this remake is ...really...not good.
Original was Doris troy which is also good.
thomas hi i love doris troys version of this fab song ,,its so different ,,however im stuck on the hollies lol
Brilliant track, very much of the times, twanging guitars and such. Brilliant, Fab.

Just a real timeless Classic hit single of 1964 as it is by the Hollies as it is Called Just One Look such great hit single by them
The original of this song way by Doris Troy. Look her up.

The Oooh-hooos at the end are what put this version over the top!

Hi :-) a this is the Czech version :-) is not bad, is it? http://youtu.be/uQCjCGU_GZQ .. lyrics in czech is about a boy who played guitar in the park and looking at the stars. And she was sorry that he is himself :-)
I much prefer the Doris Troy and Lulu versions from the same period. Still, I'm sure Doris appreciated the royalties from the Hollies version!
Just as good maybe even better than Doris Troy!
I love Doris Troy, but you're right, the Hollies rendition is lights out.
Linda Ronstadt, of course, butchers the hell out of it.
@mrjoezazza Hollies version is my favorite.
MTV con Il Testimone ha finalmente messo in onda un programma divertente e allo stesso tempo serio che racconta filo e per segno tutto ciò che succede in Italia e nel Mondo.

I was hooked on the Hollies soon as I heard them do this song! The bouffant hair style Graham had early in 64 is so great! He still has lovely full hair all shocking white. The film of them from Hit Parade is great and some of the earliest I have seen of the group. I often thought how fortunate Graham was to have parted and come to LA (actually he was asked to leave the Hollies) - he got a far better deal with CS&N only 1 yr later!
