For the first 30 seconds or so, I wasn't sure If I was going to like this cover, tempo seemed a little draggy. I went the full 3:14. Wow, the Hollies.

Can't you hear it building? it's there in the way the song is constructed. From a sombre understated beginning, building (crescendo) to a soaring/searing finale (climax).

Just love the Tonys guitar work . Heard many versions of this song , Glen Campbell also did a nice job. But this is my favorite , the harmonies are perfect . Just my opinion

I think so too, the sound is very close to that of The Everly Brothers, the drum beat and the harmonies .
I have listened to all The Everly's songs, so it ringed a bell when I listened to this song.

As others have said, you can see the Hollies liked the Everly Brothers. I didn't know the Hollies did covers of 50's tunes before tonight. Really cool!

I've always liked the Hollies.
It seems to me they could have improved their songs with some bass harmony.
I find this, and many of their songs to be a little shrill for me.

I dislike most female singers; even their conversation is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

Hi you have right Billy made a great version of this song. But the magic from this Hollies version are the harmonies. Graham Nash can sing so high without falling into falsetto - no other singer can sing (at the 60th) so high as he can. From Billy Fury I like at most "Once Upon A Dream". This song is fantastic.

YES this is it - you can`t better sing this one. I found no better version on You Tube like this one. The Hollies are the masters of harmonie singing.

This song puts me to sleep. Conway was a great performer but Glen Campbell puts all others to shame. It is actually my favorite Glen Campbell song.

My second favorite version of this song. I still like Conways version the best. Sorry people but to me no contest Conway owns this song. The Hollies do a great cover version though.

One of my favorite songs done by one of my favorite groups. They almost sound like the Everly Brothers. Love it.

I'm a huge Hollies fan but I don't care for this version. One of their worst efforts.
