OK.... here we go. I love, love, love Tim Foust and Peter Hollens but this didn't work at all for Tim. It was almost hard to listen to. Once again... love both of these guys but this one should have had one of the other guys from home free. You get that slow in a song that has higher notes, to stick gravel bass in it..... naw.

Regena Cooper - The song you mentioned is King of the Road by Roger Miller. Home Free recorded it already, but they did it in 2009 before Tim joined the group. The bass at that time was Elliot Robinson and he sings the lead on that song and does a wonderful job. It’s not Tim, but I recommend checking it out.

I didn't really like this interpretation of the S&G classic. The original is such a soulful and unique song. It made a strong and indelible impact on me hearing it as a child. This version is very polished and professional,but it's pacing is very different. It seems to me to be rushed just a bit. It's good,but to me the original is by far the best!
