It was good it ended. They were pretty shit at the end. I was at one of their concerts on their farewell tour. Absolute rubbish. No enthusiasm whatsoever. You get a feeling they didn't want to be there.

i know they ended it with dignity. which is important.
but please know guys that if you ever want to reunite, the fans will be here to support your back, its totally okay with us. we wont label you guys for reuniting again like its for moneys sake, heck no, it would be for Loves sake and be a re-birth/reborn HIM From The Ashes to start a brand new chapter in HIM.
But Kudos to you guys having the dignity to end it on a high while u still can. totally understandable
...even if it means heartache every moment for the rest of us fans (excuse the pun ;P lol) we will carry the flame of HIM as long as theirs breath in our lungs and pass it down generations from now, will be the Legend of the Band that Broke Out from Helsinki, Finland to spread Love Metal to the world and hopefully inspire future bands to write the same similar sort of material.

If I may share (this is not an empty question: l will delete my comment if it's bothersome) my feelings on the matter - I mostly feel like you. Still, I do not, the way you do, desire a new, lasting reunion of the band. What I expect will probably will happen (and happily for me, tough I would also be happy if it doesn't happen) is that they will do one reunion concert, somewhere later down the line. I hope if they do a reunion of any kind, that it will be like that, and that the legacy will be preserved as such. A string of concerts would probably turn into a lame, imperfect thing.


I'm so happy they had, so rare for a band in the realm of popular music, the sense to call it the end when the time was right, and go on to do other things independently of the band HIM. And so glad I perceived them in concert. < 3

Honestly, I like HIM, but this song is not one of the pieces I would love to hear again :) Original song is far more moving and incisive. Of course this is my opinion :) Not bad....but prefer original in this case.
