So I’ve been going to church since I was born and the problem is I don’t believe in god. Everything I’ve done and tried, nothing has worked. I don’t know what to do now so if anybody could pray for me or something to help then please do that for me.

I had the same problem. I was a skeptic. I thought it made me this horrible person. I remember I used to have this fear of death that I didn't understand. But the love of God is strong. I don't even remember when it ceased. All I know is that I don't have it anymore and it has been just a few months over a year since I started to believe. Pray that He will help you find Him. He most certainly helped me. Leave behind your sins and pray about it. Its unbelievable that He's real, which is part of why He's so hard to believe in. He's a really good God. Its hard to believe that such goodness could exist in our broken world. But He really is who He says He is. Sometimes I still struggle with faith but that struggle can't overtake me. Because God shows up. Seek Him. Pray about it. And I'll pray for you too. He hears our prayers. He's a living God. Much love, sister.

Find a Christian charity and ask for help, if it is really Christian, they will do what they can... last, ask the hard question - "what can I do to help myself" - and then, please consider praying for an answer...The world can be a brutal and nasty place, but that is a condition caused by the fallen men who inhabit the planet - humanity is not always humane - God did not cause this condition, man did. God loves you now, and He always will.... His love can show you the light.... just ask Him.

@Mark D'Aoust My man. I was born and raised in an extreme religious enviroment and in a poor family. Hard work saved us, not God. The only thing that God gave me was mental issues and social anxiety, because my church was a cult. Religion may be helpful sometimes, but there is really evil people out there who take advantage of people's good will and faith. God didn't saved you: you saved yourself. Religion is a sickness. Wake up and heal.
