If you trust in Jesus as the son of God and as your savior then you have already been forgiven. God does not hold the sins of believers against them, because all he sees when he sees you is Jesus and son/daughter. Many of us who are older have done things we regret or wish we could undo, but God is faithful in protecting us even in our mistakes. I've done some horrible things, but God is still loving to me and forgives me continually; because I'm his child and he's reserved a place in heaven for me.
God doesn't turn us into angels, he clothes us with the righteousness of Jesus and makes us into his likeness. (It's *way* better!)
I pray that you will come to understand God's love for you, that you would not be beaten down by the law, but that you would be lifted up in God's grace and mercy.
