This part gets me all the time

The grammar error in this song absolutely destroys it for me. I cannot join with others in singing "Don't fear no evil" because we are actually saying "Fear evil." (Two negative words become a positive.) The song would have worked with one simple change, take out either "don't" or "no" or change "don't" to "I will" -- which is actually how I am now singing it, my declaration of "I WILL fear NO evil."
