The truth is... Gabriella is not wrong. She is NOT over dramatic in her decision to leave. The song - maybe - is. But even if you pay attention to the lyrics, she's not really saying anything definite, also the song isn't addressed to Troy only. It's not so much like "you betrayed me, I hate you!" (except for that 'what about trust?' line), it's more like "Troy, we both know this isn't working, I need to stay away for a bit because I feel I'm not living my best summer as I wanted to". And honestly guys... That's pretty mature! It's not really Troy's fault nor Gabriella's, not even Sharpay's. It's life, you know.
