Hiatt, John - Love You Again Lyrics
I was speeding through the dark
I didn't know how far
It can all run away with you sometimes in an empty box car
You were trying to tell me something
I wasn't listening to you
Every time that train come blowin' through
Then you wrote me in a letter
I don't how your courage came
You told me what you wanted
Every word in tears and flame
How you loved me more than ever
In spite of all the hurt inside
And it cracked my heart wide open

Patrick O'Hearn on BASS!
ditto furulake! Nothing else to say. He's prodigious!
John Hiatt is such an immense talent. Loved him for years. Great to see his daughter Lilly getting into the act too. His song "Georgia Rae" about his other daughter Georgia Rae Hiatt is one of my favorite songs ever, maybe the best song ever written about a the birth of a baby.
checkout Lilly Hiatts band. it's pretty damn awesome!
taco bell?
I didn't intend for it to sound like bashing. I can much more tolerate Hiatt as he is than Chicago playing in concert in 1985 all dressed in neon-colored jumpsuits. That was the only concert that I actually walked out on.
Yeah, and such deplorable wardrobe too. Must not be able to afford much more than Goodwill. I love it.
This CD kicks ass. This is song #2 on the disc and I listened to it 7-8 times before moving to song #3. Beautiful backing vocals too. thanks for posting.
