This song is an "outtake" bonus track for a reason. It kind of sucks and is total waste of an collaborative effort between the pair. All the fawning over the great works of their past does not make this a good song.

A gem of a song, somehow overlooked in the mainstream and was always popular in my radio shows.
Both are big enough artists with their solo and band careers but an album of duets of original material would surely be well received.

When I hear a song and it stirs my heart in a special way that's familiar but was never formally introduced........it's makes me cry. These two artists have mastered song writing from way back and this is just another rhelm of beauty shared with us. Thank you

This is what voice teachers are talking about when they say don't push. Examples of where Don is not pushing: "if you go or if you stay," "another day," "choose to leave," "door," "the day before," "time," the second part of love in "I'm still in love, why aren't you?" Stevie doesn't have the tone and breath control that Don has. Singing softly requires breath support. "The sun is gonna ris-, is gonna rise" - the first phrase ending in rise has a horrible pronunciation but the second rise is great.

WBFbySteefen is it really as complicated as all that vocal teacher stuff??? lol these two just know how to "deliver" a song. by my definition, the manner in which they sing is a reflection of what the lyrics convey. some singers tap into that easier than others.
