To all you haters out there bitching about this being a cover....good luck finding pretty much anything original. The Hendrix family has it all locked up to make as much money as possible and hold the rights to his music. As free as Jimi was and wanted to be it is a shame that they keep his music locked up this way. I personally liked this version and found it to be very uplifting. If you don't like it then move on about your day instead of spreading hateful words to someone you don't even know. How long did it actually take you to figure out it was a cover...I figured it out in the first 2 seconds! Is that worth spreading negativity? Free your mind from hate and you will see your path. Go ahead and bash me now... I don't care, I have tough skin.

Just a few small points I'd like to add:

1. There is a "u" in behaviour
2. "Scammed" is an awfully strong word. Did money change hands?
3. Complaining is not the same thing as hating. People need to find another word. It shouldn't be difficult, there are many.

Inside there was a torn-out and folded page from a notebook, on which is a handwritten transcript of what appears to be an unpublished, rare as dodo-shit Jimi Hendrix interview conducted by none other than Lester Bangs...
“...The interview didn’t begin well. Although Jimi glided in through the hotel room door behind Chas Chandler, wearing a rather exotic-looking bejewelled hat and a mischievous smile, as he sat down the long tassels on his sand-coloured suede jacket caught and almost knocked over a lava lamp that was on a coffee table. Jimi looked ashen – I had been reliably informed that he had ingested a ridiculous amount of acid an hour or so earlier and this mishap triggered a temporary freak-out. Thankfully, after a few minutes he regained his composure and flashed a goofy grin: ‘Flipped out there for a second! Groovy to see you man...’
Jimi talked enthusiastically about a new track he had just finished recording, called ‘Drifting’. ‘I swear man, when I was playin’ the long instrumental section on that cut? The psychedelic scene had just hit man, and cats were dressing up more...flamboyantly, you dig? So I dug that, y’know, and I was wearing this fine-looking frilly shirt I had just bought that day in town. Richard did a double-take when he saw me – the Georgia Peach wasn’t pleased and his face turned to thunder. ‘Ain’t no cat in my band gonna upstage me with no goddam frilly, open-neck shirt!’, he cried. ‘I am the beauty! I am the beauty! Lawdy Miss Clawdy...Jimi boy, one of these days you’s gonna give the Peach a heart attack. I’m fining you five dollars from tonight’s pay boy, and don’t argue none with me either...’”
Sadly, this is the only surviving extract from the interview. Below this text there is a game of noughts and crosses, Lester’s grocery shopping list for that day and a coffee stain
