Helmet - Rollo Lyrics
Sorry for myself, I've lost my
Kharmic wealth but
I can take from you with antiseptic stealth
I'll dig my own grave, get my
Front yard paved
Another dollar saved
What lies ahead
I always make my point, soak
Bread in dirty oil
"Right's" too strong a word
The neighborhood's been spoiled but
I know what I know, stuck that
Inner glow
I said I know what I know
I'm wrong, I won't admit it
I won't get it

Where can I find the girl on the cover?
Lyrics
Sorry for myself
I've lost my karmic wealth
But I can take from you
With antiseptic stealth
I'll dig my own grave
Get my front yard paved
There's always a penny earned
Another dollar saved
I always make my point
Soak bread in dirty oil
Right's too strong a word
The neighborhood's been spoiled
But
I know what I know
Stuck that inner glow
I don't have time to learn
I said I know what I know
I'm wrong,
I won't admit it
I won't get it
Those flam fills on the toms. Genius in context man. Stanier is Dope!
This song makes me leave a comment
Ive allways liked Helmet. I remmember waiting on radio x so unsung comes on so i can drive around in sabre. I was a kid a time.
But this song, i swear to god i heard that riff somewhere. It sounds like i heard it a ton of times but i cant remmember hearing it at all. Unbeliavble sense of nostlgia and awareness, but here i sit in real time totaly unaware of the situation.
What a fucking great band, extremely underrated. And honestly im glad it is. i dont need another poser to ruin my favourite band. Helmeti all around great band. Drums are spot on when it comes to timing, even more precise than metronome. And those greasy riffs followed with well thought lyrics. Just, all around great band
stainer is most underrated drummer ever.
All the reason
One of... for SURE! & One of THEE BEST to work For! Took us 2 Tours to fully DIAL this SOUND! & NOPE! NOT a picallo, DEEP METAL SNARE w/Tyvek(falam pad, woven yellow, bulletproof material that REMO had just came out with'91-'92) HEAD, CRANKED AS TIGHT AS 💩!
@Keith aka KEEF Bornzin Drums in THE VILES please stop typing like this.. It looks like a mess
He’s the man of the snare. He beats the shit outta that snare
Just started play the drums because of him. I had listen "I know I was instantly hooked.
"
Love how loud the bass guitar is in this song.
Drake Pohl Henry bogdan knew how to slap the bass
Just a fucking hands down bad ass track and band
Was introduced to Helmet in the mid to late 90's when I was working at a treatment center for emotionally disturbed kids by a young 13 year old lad who resided at a locked unit. He had fried his brain sucking Freon from the back of old refrigerators and was very unstable but still showed glimpses of high intelligence. I was amazed that he chose to share this band which was very groundbreaking and influential at the time. If he is still alive, his memories are most likely permanently compromised, but his brief plumes of insight will always stay with me.
That's one of the more interesting things I've read on youtube in quite some time. Thanks for sharing.
Make sense, this music is so cold and soulless
@stella val do you mean that in a bad way..? Lol
The best song off this album hands down. Drums are super sick!
nah, "i know" is best
Actually this track is confirmed to be the best track
@J J damn right
Amazing hi hat and fills during the verse

Awesome. The drums amaze me in the song. Very under-rated song
