I could put this riff on a loop (before the transitional tempo bridge part...although excellent) and meditate to it. It's just insane that these guys probably thought "let's write the best fucking two chord riff of all time dominated by its
rhythm structure with the drums (high hat spitting away) behind it...oh, and we'll tune down to drop D so that
you could teach a child to play it a few days after first picking up a guitar (bar all the strings-power chord), the only
challenge being the actual wicked rhythm. It is one of those songs (kind of reminds me of Husker Du, example "Green Eyes" which I think is one of the greatest songs ever written...RIP.Grant Hart) were it is heavy distorted noise to the untrained ear, but actually well crafted. These guys could play (Julliard for fuck sake). Love the drum fill right toward the end.

'Well crafted' is a bit of an understatement. I will challenge any semi decent band (and especially drummer) to cover this properly.
