I remember listening to this song at 2016 for the first time. out of curiosity after watching a cover by Walk of the Earth featuring this guy, i got into his channel and try this song. brings quite a lot of vibes and memories from that year everytime i listen to it. Now it becomes one of a few song that i could listen every time im feeling down and want to look back just to see how far i have walked. Great song indeed 💯

I saw him in concert last night, and met him. He is so incredibly amazing and such a nice human being. he want around signing peoples albums, shirts, phones etc. and taking pictures with all his fans. I got the back of my phone signed and took a photo with him. Hands down one of, if not the best night of my life

I don't get the video. What is it about can someone explain?

Okay so basically the machines take over the word the video starts 2 years earlier then as the song goes time jumps a bit the guy gets called off to go fight in the war then when he comes back I'm guess based on the lyrics and the symbol thing on his wrist he was turned into an android. The dad freaked out naturally but then another android thing shows up and try's to kill the girl but the guy from the beginning shows up and snaps at her androids dude neck or something showing that he still has emotions and feelings aka "he's more then a machine"

Actually the story is that society becomes advanced enough to start to manufacturing artificial humans - or androids - and humans don't take to it very well. They start to hold protests, holding up signs with red Xs through the android symbol. Humans assume all androids are the same and that they 'can't be trusted'. So when a war breaks out between humans and droids, the boyfriend of the girl in the video ends up going off to fight in the war. He presumably dies, since she's seen receiving a phone call and then bursting into tears, and then also two years later he's nowhere to be seen in the present day. So two years after the war, she's hiding behind a car from this one particular terminator-like android who seems to be hunting her, and she sees the body of a young man lying on the ground. She checks on him and sees the android symbol on his wrist, realizing he's an android. But instead of shunning him like every other human would, she gives him a chance. She even starts to like him, as evidenced by the fact that she almost holds his hand when they're sitting on the billboard sign. So when she brings him back to where her and her parents have been hiding out, her father realizes the kid is an android and shuns him, completely unwilling to trust or give him a chance. The android kid starts to leave, but then the terminator like thing from earlier shows up. Fixated on killing the girl, he completely ignores her parents and goes right after her. Just when he's about to shoot her in the back, the android kid takes him down, saving the girl's life. The parents are stunned that an android would do that, and the android and the girl take each other's hand. The point of the story (and the song) is that not all the androids are the same: the android kid is 'more than a machine'. He feels and cares. But all of society just assumed androids were untrustworthy, unfeeling robots who were all alike. Maybe if they hadn't assumed that, the war never would have happened to begin with and the girl would never have lost her boyfriend. But by being willing to trust and break the stigma, she ended up saving her own life.

as someone who got to see him in a very small concerty type thing(juno kick off show in a mall) and then got to hug him afterwards i really don't want him to be globally famous because it was such an amazing intimate concert and i much prefer that to giant shows. plus i just want him for myself and i don't want everyone talking about him tbh bc i'm incredibly selfish XD
