I've been a KISS fan since 1976, but I basically lost interest in the band post Ace's departure. I never cared that much for Paul Stanley's voice, so I like Helloween's vocals better-lol

Thereason this cover sounds like that is simply because it is evident Helloween based the coverstyle on I stole Your Love studio version straight out of Love Gun record.

No offense but Helloween (whatever formation/era) outperforms KISS by a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide margin (except by Eric carr and Bruce Kulick) so I think it is a matter of style rather than technical/musical skils.

The ONLY "good" thing on that album is the other impostor's "performance" on "For the glory" where he actually sings. The rest is horrible. No wonder my friend told me "don't buy it....just listen to it" and he kindly lent it to me....horrible album.

yea, i noticed that too. I think Andi (Andi Deris, Helloween's singer since '94),was probly tryin 2 sound more like Gene, seeing as both Gene and Andi have more raspy, throaty voices, and since Andi obviously knew wat Gene's voice sounds like, he probly just went for that kind of sound. Anyway, good observation.
