I used to think the Kiske albums (by which I mean the keeper of the 7 keys albums) and walls of Jericho were the only Helloween albums that were good. Now, I love the Deris stuff as much.

for me at least daris era more great albums than with Kiske that only keepers part 2 is great part 1 is good the others Kiske albums era is creap in my opinion however he is a great singer

Growing up, the only Helloween I was familiar with was with Kiske and I didn't really listen to them then, since my brother listened to them and I damn sure wasn't gonna listen to anything my brother listened to...anyway, recently gotten into power metal and have tried to listen to all the Helloween I can. I think I prefer Kiske, but Deris is pretty damn good too. It's all good. Can't believe how stupid I was not to listen to Helloween because my brother did. The dumbness of youth I guess.

@TimLovesMetal Deris has done the unthinkable IMO. He has succesfully replaced the unreplacable, I will never try and compare the two however. They are both the perfect choice for their respective Helloween periods.
