However, she definitely had no motivation.... to promote it through A lie????. Taylor Momsen was prepared to do A SOLO new age pop album. She was signed to Interscope by 15. Momsen, in a radio interview, stated she matured and realized she didn't like that type of music. With her legal team behind her she essentially put A stop to the release and Interscope was less than thrilled and barely promoted her rock-based first record with her band "The Pretty Reckless". Momsen stated She really wrote a great first record than released her final songs with Interscope from "Hit Me Like a Man" e.p. The Band found better success when they signed to Razor n Tie. The band's next one "going to hell" was even bigger, and reLeased on an independent record label. She's not in this business for money or fame. She generally loves to write and sing.
