Ahh. Im over head sobbing. I lost my father when I was in 3rd grade. I haven't been the same since. Being honest im struggling. Been so many years without him Its unfair. My parents were split up. He would get me every other Friday. I enjoyed every day with him. The day he died, his work got to him so He had to cancel a week before that. 2 weeks since I seen him. I remember everything. I remember my mother wake up to a phone call. Only thing I woke up too was her crying and her exact words "what am I gonna tell him". Laying in bed I didn't consider anything honestly. I woke up and she broke the news to me. At first I and even at my age (3rd grade Can't remember my age) I thought it was some sick joke. I broke down crying. A lot of me died that day. The worse part of it all is that my father tried calling my mother. We think it was to say goodbye. My mom never knew so she isn't at fault. She called back when she checked but no answer. They say you get older, it fades away, that is a lie. Deep down, this has halted my life COMPLETELY. Got dropped put of school. Basically stayed in my room. Rest in peace dad. Not a day I didn't think of you. Tell melissa I love her too. Gosh its hard because part of me believes in no god. "Gives only what you can handle" is a big fucking lie.

My dad is gone now, but I'll love him forever.

Im sorry for your lost. My friend lost his dad on january and his friend on february. Now praying that this month will be a better month and this year will be abit better that the way it started for him. He posted signs of depression on facebook and me and some friends are trying our best to make sure he is in a good state of mind. I hope you get through this sad period and do speak out and reach out to someone. Dont hold back and dont keep it all to yourself.

All I've got is family now, we've been sticking to each others side a lot closer now, and I've already had a therapist, but thank you. I know how tough it is for you friend but constant love and attention will do him good. I hope your friend's year will get better too.
