Die legen da wirklich wert drauf, dass die gleich klingen. Hat einer der Mitglieder bei nem Interview mit dem Dunklen Parabelritter gesagt. Find ich persönlich auch gut so, da weiß man halt was man von hat und ist nicht enttäuscht wenns nich so is wie mans sich gewünscht hat. :D

I think I was at their first show in the states, It was at the boardwalk in Orangeville California sometime around 2005 or 6... They were the last band to play and the entire place emptied except for 15 people. So I pretty much got a private concert and hung out with them afterward. They played hard for us too! I have no Idea why everyone left but HSB is my favorite band and I'll never forget how cool they were to play that hard for such a small show and then hang out with us afterward! Some bands are all studio talent. After hearing them live and listening to their albums for 10 years I can say with 100% accuracy that they sound way better live. Marcus' scream is pure raw talent, although it takes a strain on him for sure. It took him a little bit to come hang out with us after the show and Alex joked semi-seriously that he was "probably in the bathroom coughing up some blood, no biggie." Another funny fact after meeting Marcus is that he definitely has a heavy German accent of some sort but you can't really pick it up from listening to the music ;)

I love this band. I've been searching for a band with this kind of influence to them. I can't find much. I'm not talking about the "hardcore bands" with the big breakdowns; I'm talking bands that are just fucking flying with energy and that double bass! the kind that you can run a marathon to. I know about amon amarth, parkway drive, in flames, etc. (I love those bands too), but I want something I can just get fucking lunatic with.

Check out caliban. They've collaborated in the past with hsb. Very similar style. It's the closest I've found.

+Richard Wiley caliban is one of my all time favorites. been around a long time.

Yeah I threw an HSB Playlist on my Pandora so I've definitely noticed some good Caliban, and I also found Disarmonia Mundi on there; I love Mundi's music but takes a bit to get use to their vocals
