When I listen to this I’m immediately brought back to Spring Break in Ft Lauderdale, 1988. I was staying with my friend in Pembroke Pines. I specifically recall going to a local seafood restaurant and getting sick one night from shrimp and sphagetti in a cream sauce and key lime pie.

Some don't connect HEART to this song. This is not usual HEART style. It sounds a bit early ROXETTE-ish to me. Mystical, haunting, chilly instrumental... Imo. A little "outside the box" for Heart. Always liked this one nonetheless.. Haha came looking for it today!

I knew that they made Ann stand behind other things and people because the people in charge were worried about how her weight would look, but I never noticed until now that in addition to that they also shot her close ups with an anamorphic lens to visually "squeeze" her in the frame! Good grief, I'm sure that made her feel real good about herself...

I am a big fan of this band.

Not their best, this one. It's just so mechanical. The hook is good, but they just repeat it over and over. The verse and the bridge are barely there. The body of the lyrics don't say anything the title phrase doesn't, and the premise of the song has been written about much better by other writers. Even as a showcase for Nancy's singing, it falls short, as her most impressive, dramatic moment in the bridge is quickly obscured by the final chorus.

Kinda sad how they’re doing Ann in this video. They have her hidden behind the drums, the smoke, the band mates, the props of people. It’s apparent that she’s being hidden because of her weight, which makes it’s hard to watch

One of my favorite songs by Heart. Not only because it's a great song but because unfortunately it hits so damned close to home.

Every time I hear this on the radio I get the 'inferior' version without Nancy overlaying the lyrics at 2:02 "she's setting you up my friend" and "she's gonna break your heart again". I'm delighted I can finally hear this version again!
