When I saw the Allman Brothers they had Richard Betts and that (at the time) 14 year old gun slinger Trucks playing slide and I just kept watching this big guy I'd never seen and never heard of ,I went home saying wow they had a stage just full of guitars. One of my favorites from that day on though was Warren,But it was hard to notice anybody else because I was a huge Johnny Winter fan from childhood! So glad I got to see him a few times,RIP JOHNNY YOU ARE MISSED.

Too much talent playing too many styles to be that cut and dried about it, but Warren is one of my favourites.

I came back a month later and it's even better than I remember! I loved Warren since I saw the Brothers in Gainesville Florida many years ago at the bandshell for free.

What band had two better blues voices than Warren and Gregg in Allman Brothers Band.

He takes this song and makes it his own. Unrecognizable. Crazy great. Gov mule used to play at the Clearwater, I was a young boy and didn’t know who warren was or what a gov mule was so I never went. Of course on the nights Jerry showed up we were stoked. He would just come in and play. Good times

Went and seen the Allman brothers band in 03 at riverbend in Cincinnati I went to see if suzan tedeschi had a new album out yet and Warren Haines was in the tent where they sold cds and shirts I was asking about cds and he asked me if I liked her band my instant response was heck yeah she has the blues deep in her ,and he laughed said yes she does brother and left ,never knew who he was till the show wow they weren't missing Dickey Betts that night he frippin shredded that guitar! Wow what a show all of em dereck trucks Greg Allman, Susan tedeschi band ,what a night
