He never had any friends and school was unbearing. So the night before 8th grade he tried to take the easy way out.....

Well, the pills didn't work. So he woke up crying. Pleading to be home-schooled. Scared of the words of the perfect boys. He wanted to withdraw.....and never look back.


And he did.

@kirbymiester Define deep? To someone who may have had things similar tot he events in this song occur to them they might find it deep. Some people who notice it is a serious sounding song may think it is deep. It is a matter of opinion.

Deep? These lyrics aren't deep, they're literal and superficial. It's a one-dimensional story about a kid, and it can only be perceived one way. Don't get me wrong, I love HH's older stuff and a few of the songs on this album, but it seems like a lot of people are just sheep-liking songs like this out of loyalty. HH can do deep, but they didn't do it here.
