Hatebreed - Immortal Enemies Lyrics

When the conflict never ceases
And the enemies are immortal
Only their names and faces change
So a stance must always be held

Claw at my pride you facade tears away
Another day dies, I'm looking, I'm tasting
Attempt to break my stride, fall deeper, tread faster
Another cry ignored, the most desolation

If the conflict must last forever
So much our struggle for justice
In a state of faith denied
Is it any wonders where the answers lie?

Enemies never die
Conflict is unending
Chaos never ceases
Where does the solution lie?

Claw at my pride you facade tears away
Another day dies, I'm looking, I'm lasting
Attempt to break my stride, fall deeper, tread faster
Another cry ignored, the most desolation
If the conflict must last forever
So much our struggle for justice
In a state of faith denied
Is it any wonders where the answers lie

Enemies never die
Conflict is unending
Chaos never ceases
Where does the solution lie?

When the conflict never ceases
And the enemies are immortal
Only their names and faces change
So a stance must always be held

Enemies never die
Conflict is unending
Chaos never ceases
Where does the solution lie?

    the song is so underrated. most of my friends don't like it ( I don't know why )

  2. C.... M....

    This song describes life and the infinite pain and suffering being inflicted from one upon another. Throughout history. "Enemies never die. Conflict is unending. Chaos never ceases. Where does the solution lie?"

  3. G.... L....

    Wow, this song very accurately describes jewish supremacy and it's never-ending war against humanity and the Natural Order.

  4. P.... H....

    Common sense in the darkest of places.

    Holy crap just realized how much sense this song makes, "When the conflict never ceases and the enemies are immortal. Only their names and Faces change
    So a stance must always be held. When there is a war, when soldiers are killed they are just replaced. :( So they are immortal, only there names and faces change.

    D.... C....

    Interesting. It might also apply to the war criminals and tyrant's in power. Their names and faces change with each 'presidency', but it's still a tyrant up there. (George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Hitler, Stalin, etc).

    Good post, Daniel.

    D.... C....

    You can see it on a personal level, too. you will always face persons who don't like you or even hate you. Conflict starts when born and ends only with your own death. And no, i am not a pessimist :)

    D.... C....

    Daniel Charles and our government... rise up!

    wtf does that even mean?

  26. D.... I....

    @cheizzy
    Well put.

  27. c.... ....

    @Illumirage Understood. But please release your mind from the media created box it was cast upon you to close your mind to many other possible realities. This song represents an open interpretation to all with conflicts and social concerns left un addressed. It is the spirit of the music and its style that corrals the shift in popular opinion to the source point of this song's purpose. And that purpose is to inspire rebellion in any area or cause in which it is needed.

  28. D.... I....

    @MattHokeFails
    Yeah, as are all songs I guess - open to many interpretations. And yes, Hatebreed are badass. Saw them live like two months ago, they weren't headlining but they stole the show.

  29. D.... I....

    @grillfaced
    Not a bad interpretation.

  30. M.... ....

    @Illumirage You could just as easily say it's against the various ruling classes of history -- the ancient aristocracy, the modern wealthy, their manifestation in the various parties and candidates.

    It's pretty open to interpretation. Listen to "Another Day, Another Vendetta" and tell me that doesn't sound like left-wing rhetoric against the wars and against wealth inequality. Not saying Hatebreed is leftie...they're just pretty open to interpretation.

    Overall they rule.

  31. S.... O....

    KILL THE DISLIKE!

  32. T.... ....

    @grillfaced exactly, only the names and faces change

  33. x.... ....

    @ 0:02 I understand when the Cornflake never ceases :PP

    sry for my bad English :DD

  34. D.... I....

    So is it safe to say Jamey Jasta is a Conservative? Because it sounds to me like this song is referring to Islamic terrorist thugs.
    Think about it, you kill some terrorists, like 20 ignorant new ones are hitting puberty, only their names and faces change, but they're all the same. And most certainly conflict is unending in that region.

  35. D.... I....

    @odeezyandtigs
    Oh, hah!

  36. D.... I....

    @odeezyandtigs
    No idea what a penicillin half is, even after googling it, but I like your enthusiasm. Rock on my friend :D

  39. J.... R....

    Damn....I wish I could find the fx that they use on their guitars. It's sick, raw, brutal...it's damn metal. My only question, how the hell does this cat scream day in, day out without breaking his damn throat?......can't lie, I'm jealous.

    J.... R....
