Harvey Danger - Radio Silence Lyrics

Let it sing
Let it cry
And roll out the carpets
No such thing.
Mustn't pry;
All hail to another confession...
And it's losing me.

Where have all the merrymakers gone?
Where have all the merrymakers gone?

Some people will surprise you with a real depth of feeling
And others still may shock, shock, shock you with all that they're revealing
But one thing's sure: there's always more information than you ask for.
Ask for this:
Just enough knowledge to know I don't know anything,
Anything, anything, anything
(I don't know. Nobody likes what I like; that's how I like it)
Some things are personal (at least they should be)
Or is it too much, much to ask you just to maintain a little
Maintain a little
Maintain a little
Maintain a little
Maintain a little
Maintain a little
(take the cynical saint to the stake and burn it)

It's radio, it's radio silence, silence
It's radio, it's radio silence, silence
It's radio, it's radio, radio silence
It's radio, it's radio, radio silence
It's radio, it's radio, radio silence
It's radio, it's radio, radio silence.

found this on a spotify playlist i was listening to, but it wasn't available in my country so i thought id check it out on youtube. im so glad i did. might become a favourite song of mine

  2. T.... P....

This was actually my favourite song off the entire album, must have listened to it 1K times over the years, this is one band that was truly under-rated. Never got the recognition they should have! Takes me back, hard to believe it's been over 20 years.

    T.... P....

I still listen to it sometimes actually. Still one of my favorites. Aged very well with that crisp Sub Pop sound

  3. A.... S....

even to a young person like myself, this is pure Perfection. Nothing More

Where have all the merry makers gone. This song is KKK. I study KKK. I am?
This is a sad little girl's song. She's african american. This is amongst her favorite songs.

I've never met a person outside of the internet that's ever heard these guys outside of Flagpole Sitta, but you know what they say~

I discovered them through some youtube channel that uploads obscure/lesser known albums. I'm so glad the youtube recommended videos on the side was actually good for once lol.

I heard Flagpole Sitta in Weird Al polka and bought this album for that song but this quickly became my favourite song on the album and one of my all time favourite songs.

I got to see them perform this live in Portland almost ten years ago. I had already loved them for almost a decade by that point. I got to meet the whole band (even the French horn guy from the 2005 album. Got them all to sign my ticket. One of the greatest moments of my life.

The bass player died this month. Poor guy. Only 43. Excellent, under exposed band. Ahead of the rest, by far.
