I think Ayu has had a great run and that run has come to an end, more or less. If this were her last album, I'd say it would be a high point to finish on. Haven't heard the full thing but nothing on here sounds bad, and (in spite of the poor quality snippets) sounds very well mixed and performed in comparison to some of the previous albums. Like Party Queen.

*Haven't seen her / stuff for over a decade*.. WOW... is it just me for a women whos almost 40... that she actually De-aged? Why does she look like a 18 year old girl? She just looks so different now its unrecognizable.. what happened to the long blond trademark hair? It's like she ditched all that makeup here or something

I like this album! Not her best (for me) but is good. But i i thought it will be more experimental with japanese traditional styles. I was waiting more than this. It didn't sell well (as her last ones) but it was good on digital download and peak n°2 on Oricon. I don't think her time is done. For me she need a break and time for herself. I think she isn't doing her work whit passion, thats why she need to rest and renovate the passion. It's said that Avex is very hard on its artist.
This album has styles from each other Ayu works. If she (and her production team) uses it well, she can reinvent and refresh herself again, i think. I love Ayu! Ayu don't forget you have fans from Southamerica too! (as i)

First of all I'm sorry for my bad english. I love this album. I've been waiting so long for something like that !! It sound like « pure » Ayu but not like «copy of old». I can only give my opinion as a fan. I love her and as many of her fans I think she maybe needs a break. To take time for herself. To maybe make people miss her but not one of those so so long break wich can make people forget about her lol If she won't take one, maybe she needs new people around her. I mean in her professional circle. she was creative and original for long time because she used to work with new people but the problem is that she still working with them years later and now those people are usual in her discography and in our ears that's why sometimes her music sound repetitive.

When she does something very different (ex party queen), it sound kind of weird and too much. When she tries something neutral (ex : Love Again) it sound common and a bland. When she tries a back to the roots (ex : A One), it sounds « old » and a bit boring. that's why I think she should « update » her professional circle not to make her music sound different but newer and better cause we all know that she can do that, she has the potencial to do it. That why I think she should rest a little bit and take time to find the good way to do something new without destabilize older fans and attract new one. I don't know her private life situation I only know that she's married and kind of stable. I read things about the way she acts, clothe she wear but anyway Only Ayu know who Ayu is. So I can't judge her private life, just what she show me through her music

i dont understand the comments here. maybe the new ayumi doesnt work with the old fans. ive been a fan just recently. and im in love with 2012-now ayumi. the previous ayumi was alright. but i immediately fell in love with colors. its so mature. but thats my perspective

I love the album and had such high hopes for it, in regards to sells. I think it's over for Ayu. she's had a magnificent run, but I think she either needs to take a long overdue break or just retire. these current sells are HORRIBLE and her sells have been like that for a while now. even slAvex no longer respects her legacy. look how they butchered her anniversary. With That Love, Again, Love Again bullshit 😢

Oh Am Gee, this album is like a reincarnation of her "Love songs","Rock 'n' Roll Circus","Party Queen",and "NEXT LEVEL" blend together, so bad!!! i can also detect the album was made in a haste from her voice, that feeling of wanna complete it quickly, i miss her 1998-2008 albums, i thought from her "LOVE again " in 2013 she finally decided to come back to her music paths she used to be (MY STORY, (miss)understood, Secret, Duty, I am, GUILTY and all her pre-2009 albums), but this albums convince me "LOVE again" was only experimentation before she experiments even more crazier songs than the ones in "Love songs" and failed miserably big time!!!!

+Wild Soul Mad World alone has more soul and meaning than anything on Love Again. even A One does. and her vocal and mixing is much better than that album

I personally like Next Level a lot. The dance music on it has great hooks, the rock songs on it hit harder than past Ayumi songs, and it's an overall cohesive album up until the final 2 tracks. I've been trying to get into Love again and I'm finding it hard to, personally.

No idea how this album is bad when you have Colours which isn't even the slightest bit reminiscent of the MY STORY ayu

This album feels too forced that you feel the level of discomfort. I hope she's not looking to the past too much because it's already been done and it's time to move forward. I'm hoping that this album is a "growing pains" album because she's more than capable or renewing her image.

I'm looking forward to this new album from Ayu. I think I'm going to like "your the only one" and "summer love", I already like "mad world" but I luv "flower" the most 😊

I'm looking to hearing the rest of the other songs aslo.
