Am I the only one thinking that "... Killing ourselves to live, we just need one more hit" is just a bit similar to the chorus of Till' death do us part by White Lion? ( I don't mean that's plagiarism, you know sometimes it's all about unexpected associations)
However, I love Halestorm ( Lzzy is one of my favourite front-women in the rock/metal scene), and I find this album kinda groovy and interesting! Rock on!

As soon as I heard this, I turnd it off and went listening to White Lion.

This song is probably one of the best Halestorm has ever done. Bought the album on release day and I was blown away. I still listen to this and Black Vultures at least 10 times a day. Some of the best work I've heard

First time I saw Halestorm was at the MMR-BQ in Camden a few years ago. Then, I saw them in May in Reading with In This Moment. I already have my ticket to see them (again, with In This Moment) in Camden in November!

Heavy , yes, but their new music is pretty boring and mediocre. Toooo much going on vocally that starts to sound like a bunch of noise. I appreciate their old albums way more. Sadly to say I lost interest in their music officially now.

Haven't listened to much of their music but since they are coming to our brewery for a concert tgought i should check them out again and realized i should of been listening to them all along. She's really good and has the voice to sing anything she wants to. And that drummer really looks like he loves what he's doing and is pretty good. Maybe depending on cost and expense might get tickets to see them.

Lzzy is a once-in-a-generation vocalist. There is a real possibility that she is our generation’s Axl Rose in regards to raw, untamed talent. She’s so dang good. There’s no end to her range.

Y’all are forgetting her vocal range moves easily from Lindsey Sterling to, well this. Much better than Axl, but Sebastian in his prime. Just maybe.

How about instead of comparing her to male singers like she has to live up to them and therefore devaluing her unique abilities, we acknowledge that Lzzy Hale is one of a kind and this generation’s Lzzy Hale — never to be seen anywhere else.
