Sammy is the man.... I didn't think he was right for VH (VH is David Lee Roth - not even Eddie....) just because I didn't feel like it was "his" band. But the rest of his career - golden showers for all!

Saw these guys last night. Fantastic show! I expected them to sound good but they sounded great and they started earlier than advertised. Almost 3 hours of great music. Sammy is a showman. Was very skeptical of an outdoor show in a small town being a good venue but they rocked it on a perfect night. Check these guys out if you have a chance to see them live.

I feel like this song was never finished and it was just getting ready to throw the second verse which I could see alot harder sounding. I hope when they do this one live- they will add more to it. I think this sound could really rock through and through.

Eddie really painted himself in a corner this time. Sammy and the Circle now have a honest to God *Rock and Roll* album out and are touring the country. In the meantime Eddie has a lineup sitting in their living rooms that includes a frontman that looks and sings like a man who is gigging weekends at the downtown Ramada Inn and a bass player who is pedestrian at best.
Eddie's pride means he needs to do something to top what Sammy is doing but any album this weak a## version of VH puts out will sound pathetic in comparison.

Van Halen gets rid of Sammy and all they have done since is 2 crap studio albums! Sammy has put out 11 studio albums in that time. Guess we all know who the writing talent of VH was!

Carey Peak musically VH is better but what have they done in the last 20 years. Oh yeah, 3 songs on a greatest hits album and one full album. Pretty much nothing.

And that one album is leaps and bounds better than everything Sammy has done combined. Van Halen shits greatness, Sammy creates mediocrity, and tons of it!

Besides, why are we so concerned with what old rock stars do when they are old, I care more about what they did in their prime.

Carey Peak ADKOT is greatness? I mean there’s some great guitar playing, it’s EVH, but the vocals from Roth suck complete ass on that album, no power and his tone is way off, MA is sorely missed on the backing vocals, and besides 3-4 songs it sounds exactly like what you’d expect... That is, a ton of stuff Eddie didn’t feel was good enough to record 30 years ago.

You and Your Blues is good, Chinatown is good, She’s the Woman is classic VH and would be awesome if Dave could sing. Other than that and the solo on Tattoo, you can have it.

Just saw Sammy and the Circle last night in Burbank. At the iHeartRadio show. WHAT A KICK ASS SHOW !!! He made a fuss over my Montrose album then changed the set list to include Rock Candy for "My Brother who brought this Montrose album and had been showing it to me all evening"

But The Circle are Right Here - Right Now! My favourite band in existence.
Mikey's harmony vocals, part of Van Halen's signature sound, perfectly balanced with Sammy & Vic's twin guitar attack, straight out of The Wabos, plus the concussive percussion of the Mad Hatter himself, Jason Bonham, punctuating Mikey's pounding bass, and topped with Sammy's scorching lead vocal... yes, he's still on top of his game..., and the result is a genuine Rock band that really has it all.
