@HEELSTEVEN MAGGLE So what virtuosic masterpieces grace your play list? Everything can be considered shit, and it is by at least a few people. The humor and imagery are as important as the vocal or instruments. Some folks take music WAY too seriously. Remember, we each have our own standards and tastes. I've heard people say Frank Zappa sucked. My mother and ex-girlfriend threatened to lock me out in cold for playing the Shiny Beast album by Captain Beefheart. Lots of people hate jazz and classical, but turn around and listen to 50 Cent or Nikki Minaj (each derivative, watered down, over hyped, etc). I like at least a bit of everything, but anything psychedelia, hard rock, prog rock, metal, punk, new wave between 1967- 1982, I'd take a quiz challenge and would defeat most people I know. I love a very broad array of other music. I won't hesitate to play most music from late 60s to early 90s, and although I think alot of contemporary music sucks, it's just my opinion. Who am I, who are you, to declare something sucks? Maybe we just appreciate things differently than others, as all people should.

Obviously GWAR aren't a band to take seriously when it comes to lyrics, but the lyrics still have to be funny or clever. Most of the shit on Carnival of Chaos and We Kill Everything are childish and immature even for their standards. The shitty humor doesn't excuse the shitty music.

Both Carnival and We Kill are terrible albums. And yes, I'm a GWAR fan.
