GWAR - Endless Apocalypse Lyrics

ENDLESS...
APOCALYPSE...
ENDLESS... ENDLESS...
APOCALYPSE...
There wasn't any reason
To change the melody
Are you a real person
Or do you just play one on TV?
People say - why don't you die?
I keep waking up and when I do I'm alive
Slipping on a lampshade
Wishing you were me
You're just wishing for poop
But happy with pee
We're just part of one filthy family
Its hard to feels so down
and I am getting over
ENDLESS APOCALYPSE...
in the beginning...
ENDLESS... ENDLESS...
ENDLESS APOCALYPSE...
You think that it's over
It really just begun
Watching your hair grow
Is really quite fun
Thought I was thinking
About another time
I'll pursue a career as a mime
Why won't you die?
I keep waking up and when I am I'm alive
Endless apocalypse
To end the beginning
Endless apocalypse
Endless apocalypse today
It's a beautiful day
ENDLESS APOCALYPSE...
ENDLESS... ENDLESS...
ENDLESS APOCALYPSE...
ENDLESS... ENDLESS...
Endless Apocalypse
To end the beginning
Endless Apocalypse
Endless Apocalypse today
It's a beautiful day

    hi, fuck you-

Carnival of Chaos and Ragnarök are my personal favorites. I don't really feel like Gwar has any "bad material", there's stuff I don't feel like listening to all the time, but I couldn't throw away any of their albums

This has been my favorite Gwar album since I started listening to them, which coincidentally enough was around the time this was released. This, America Must Be Destroyed and This Toilet Earth round out my top 3. Each offers something a little different than the last, though they got a bit more strictly heavy metal on the last few Brockie albums. I assume the Bishop stuff is equally heavy. I really tried to listen to it, but it's just not the same without Odorus doing the play by play. In general though, I still liked War Party, Lust in Space, and the other two I can't think of (one I actually own the CD smfh) that had more of a consistent modern metal sound, but anything from Hell-O through We Kill Everything really captures the band as I prefer to remember them, equal parts wacky, unpredictable, and humorous blended with chaotic, gory, and inhumane. Violence has Arrived was sort of the transition to more serious, aggressive metal, abandoning the punk and garage rock songs, silly humor and novelty tunes in favor of more streamlined, no frills metal. They were trying to remain relevant, and were everything I hoped for when I finally saw them live in 2009, blending a few War Party (Bring Back the Bomb, Reaganator) and VHA (Immortal Corruptor) tunes with a set list heavy in America Must Be Destroyed (Gor Gor, Crack in the Egg) This Toilet Earth (Saddam a GoGo) Scumdogs..(Maggots, Sick of You) I believe Techno Destructo from Karnival, I'm in Love with a Dead Dog from Hell-O, and a great rendition of Baby Raper from We Kill Everything.
