Gorgeous, generous young man. Great version of a wonderful song. For any Al Green fans out there (like me), did you know that Jeff Porcaro of Toto, Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan etc. played on the original? What a drummer he was.

Guy's doing v. well in the music scene really, got songs going around the world with others singing, he's had five #1 hits in Australia, sell out tours and always so busy. Almost too busy, I remember him having something like 5 gigs in one day. Crazy! His music is played in US, so hopefully he'll get more time to spend in their home in LA and do more gigs overseas

I guess Guy's biggest problem is how do you give up a lucrative and stellar career in Australia for an unknown in US. He does get across every year though, has an apartment in LA, be harder now with a kid in tow

Hey, Guy is playing Hotel Cafe Monday June 7 in LA, and then Sainte Rocke on June 8 AND San Diego on June 10. He's fitting in a gigs before his tour in OZ & then he returns to the USA because they're living in Los Angeles now

Guy Sebastian i9s incredibly talented but I don't think he got the best manager. He should be world wide famous and respected. His talent is huge! He should've waited and audition for AI. He would've won and would be famous now.

these guys are truly awesome!! Off the cuff, handheld camera, in a mall, and no real band. Hope that as Gary won't be used for Idol this year he might get a chance to do more with CDB or with Guy

@keithmarrmusic He's from a Melbourne based group called "CBD", was a big thing back in the 90's. He still has a fantastic voice...sigh.

yeah he's great, belongs to CDB and he does backing for lots of television shows, and he was always touring with Guy. They wrote Taller Stronger Better, and Receive the Power. They can just work together, there's lots of vids on youtube featuring both of them

He'll be heading US way soon, when The Memphis Album is released there in early 2009. See him if you can - I believe he's got gigs there. He's so good live. No autotune necessary for this guy, and great stage presence.

That's close. He didn't grow up in a 'Black' church - though I'm sure there would have been black people in the congregation. He did start singing inspirational and gospel at his church at a young age. He loves gospel music and wants to do a gospel album one day.

He has sung every genre but soul is his 'natural' feel. I don't think background is important for soul anyway. It's either in you or it isn't.

Guy's the master of ad lib. The master of 'extras' and 'tangents'. I heard another of his arrangements on Monday night, loved it. You never quite know whether you'll get the same or different. AND I might add, he's sort of stepped up again, I keep saying above superb & he was. Such an absolute musical pleasure to go see & hear him.

I am just in the middle of playing the DVD of the live The Memphis Tour right now, for around the 5th or 6th time. Gary's there too. The Lets Stay Together on the CD is amaaaazing. Different tangent song used for that one, but the look on Steve cropper and Duck DUnns faces as it goes on, just priceless
