Gungor Body & Blood Comments
I love the obvious influence from Indian classical music! I just finished learning about their traditions in class and it's so exciting to hear it being used in new music!
It's amazing. I want to meditate to this. Your sins are gone - you are free
love love well done Gungor. More please
whom is he referring to? Jesus or human beings?
The converted ecclesia should be the virgin bride, the body of Christ and the light in this world.
this is absolutely "new age" sounding and just pretty ugly altogether, without even mentioning the lyrics
@Brandon Brooks also, I mean, it's pretty childish to say I'm "fighting" or "being mean" just because I criticized a song.
I just noticed the guy up there called me a philosopher, hahaha well that is already enough of a reward to having commented anything here in the first place
Ok, so, to clarify, you felt sad and irritated when you felt that Michael decided to embrace views/opinions/beliefs that you consider outside the acceptable limits of christianity. And in response to these feelings you decided that it was okay to be mean? ("just pretty ugly altogether, without even mentioning the lyrics") I would also add that even though it doesn't "take much" to comment on something online, that shouldn't give us a excuse to be rude. Even people on the internet are people.
@Brandon Brooks i wasn't irritated when michael "turned", just sad. the bad music is was got to me. also, i still don't get why it's rude or mean to say what i thought of the song.
+Guilherme Nobre I was referencing your comment above ("I guess that's why I was "irritated" to the point of commenting on this") Also I don't think that your initial comment above could be taken as musical commentary (as you are seeming to suggest). Instead the words you are using come across as someone who is angry and finding a place to lash out. I understand that feeling and empathize with you, i just think its pretty misdirected to attack what is clearly a very personal piece art. I am interested in why you felt sad and/or irritated at Michaels personal choices or journey that are reflected so clearly in his music. Do you feel that he implicates or threatens your own life/choices/beliefs by following the path he is on? If not why the sadness or disappointment? If so, why do you feel threatened?
