Grizzly Bear - Aquarian Lyrics

Great disaster, shocking sight
Scream and run or test your might
Every moment brings a bitter choice
The knowledge you can't win with what remains

Astral actor, find your fight
Walk beside your shadow life
Lay your body on the burning ground
That separates this mind from all that's passed

Never reach the end

Daniel sounds like Feargal Sharkey in this.

  2. d.... ....

this album gets better with time

  3. J.... K....

Beautiful. Especially the instrumental part at the end, which could've been longer IMO...

  4. M.... C....

Does the intro remind anyone else of Ghost Town by The Specials?

  5. a.... a....

queens of the stone age + tame impala

  6. M.... C....

    This is so king crimson

I don`t know if this is the best song on the album but holy shit it's amazing!

    Incredible

Easily my favorite song on what (for me) is a disappointing Grizzly Bear album that doesn't feature enough high-concept psychedelic-rock/folk Daniel Rossen songs. Also, I'm pretty sure this track is a call-back to Shields' "Half Gate".

Sam Feinberg totally agree and have been a long time fan so I really want to like this album but seems like it’s sketches of songs and the material has been discovered on past albums. When I hear this I just want to skip to next track, feeling like I’ve heard this before. Yellow House is still my choice album of theres — back then they were swimming in inspiration and discovery AND they were touring with Beach House!

    Yummy drums

This one is quickly becoming my favorite track of this new album. Very intricate arrangements. Love it!!

Sounds like some old song by Yes at the beginning

The drumming is definitely very bruford-esque

Why couldn't they just make the end of this song, a song by itself?
    Right around 2:36?

Donaven Pierce I don't think that section would have the same affect without the first half.

I actually like that elaborate ending. It's like a plane descending and eventually landing.

They have many moments like that! I want a whole song out of the "remind me" section in Central and Remote
